Do You Have To Hide That You Go On EC?

I don't hide exactly, I think leaving EC open is one of the easier ways of coming out to my mother, but I still use the style without the logo just to avoid awkward questions. I guess it's technically hiding but I don't consider it to be that.

 

I live alone so I don't have much to worry about. On the occasions where I've been visiting with family I wiped my browser history and used incognito mode because my father is incredibly nosy. Yes, if something caught his eye even on my personal computer he would snoop. With friends, if they happened to see something while they were over it wouldn't really matter.

 

I used to have to. Ah the awkward days.

However now I'm out to just about everyone who I'd be hiding it from. (Aka family/friends...) My boyfriend knows I'm into women, my parents, my sis, etc.

Aside from that fact I go on here on my private phone with a pass code and practically live alone. (I have a roommate who is always at her boyfriends house and literally never home)

So no I'm not hiding anything.

Yeah, always go on here on incognito, or private browsing is set to my phone. Even the people I'm out too, I don't want knowing I'm on here...it'd just be weird idk

 

Despite being out, at least about orientation, I still hide this site. I'm still not sure why.

 

I do have to hide it, but it's not that difficult. I use my phone and clear my history often. And when I go on the computer, I have my own laptop with a password, and my mom trusts me so I don't think she'd ever want to see my history. The hard part is remembering to delete emails, in case I have to log in around my mom.

 

I usually go on my phone or my personal laptop. My parents could care less since I don't really live with them anymore, but I'm still over everyday so I worry they'll find out.

 

I don't really have to hide, because there's no one to snoop.
I only live with my mom, and most times she's doing her thing.
But of course if she walks by my room I'd switch tabs.
Just smile out of questions and I'm home free.

 

I have my own laptop and I only go on this site with it. I only use my laptop in my room, facing the door in some way. I usually come on here at night. I'd die if someone caught me on this site.

Hehe, I do, I even use a separate browser But I have been thinking of leaving it open so that my parents would accidentally discover it

 

My wife and a couple friends know. No problem. I'm the only one who uses this computer and I have 2 users. One user is everything "legitimate" and isn't password protected. My grandkids often use it. The other user is all adult material and is password protected. No one but me has access to that user. I delete all history, cookies etc. and log off after each session.

 

I hide it, a lot. I keep private mode on when here, because... parents

 

if you use Chrome as a browser, it lets you open anonymous tabs. nothing remains when you close it. unless they're using some sophisticated means to spy on your history, that will keep you anonymous. of course, there is that thing about getting caught being easier than coming out...

 

I don't have to, but I'm choosing to hide it. I'm not ready to tell anyone about my questioning of my sexuality. That's why I came on the internet about it. My parents don't "inspect" what I do online, so I think I'm fine.
