    I don't 'hide' the fact I come here because of my sexuality, I 'hide' because my family are nosy and the only bit of privacy I get is through the internet.

    I always minimize the tab, most of them know I'm gay but it's mostly the fact that I speak my mind on here I'm worried about... I'm pretty sure my dad would disown me if he knew all the shit I say.

    Mostly because I pretend to agree with them in person, trying to "look innocent" and keep my mouth shut.

    My friends know i go on here but with my family being homophobic, i cant tell them i am, one time i mentioned i may be on a site like EC to my mother she threatened to break my laptop, phone and PS3

    It's been a long time since my first response on this thread, but the answer is still yes, for many reasons. Not everyone I know is openly homophobic/transphobic, but for my own safety and privacy I usually try to keep my being on EC and my username and details lowkey. I wish it didn't have to be this way sometimes, but at the moment it still is.

    I don't have to hide EC. I just choose to.

    Out to everyone except my family excluding my parents, and I'm pretty sure the rest of my family knows anyway. So it's not like they'd give a shit.

    I have my own computer, and I stay in my room on an incognito window whenever I go on EC.

    'Cause I'm a ninja. :lol:

    I wouldn't mind if my parents and/or my sister found out, but I don't think they'd be too pleased with the idea that I've been posting here.

    No, I do not. I am very grateful for this. My family is very accepting. After all, I am not the only one to come out in my family, so they are kinda used to it.
