I'm still speechless at Germany getting beaten by Serbia and Spain losing to Switzerland. This is getting less predictable than I'd thought, which makes it twice as fun .

look at that, so many blatant fouls by USA players. Certainly not any fouls by any serbian players. The ref got that spot on...

Because complaining about reffing is so pointless. It's just whining. And if the US had played well in the first half, they wouldn't have needed to have that great comeback or a third goal for victory. Anyway, it all comes down to the last game anyway, both England and the US. Win and advance.

^And that's an amazing pic. The guy who scored the disallowed goal is the ONE Yank who isn't being embraced by a Slovenian. Such friendly people they are :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I would be very surprised to see a serbian player fouling in this pic :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

i realised my mistake after id posted it :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

but tbh given that ref, it wouldnt have surprised me if he'd given a foul by a serbian player :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Portugal get a nice 7-0 win, starting to shape up now for the knock-out stages!

That was amazing...the North Koreans stopped playing defence and the floodgates just sprang open. What about the North Korean players when they head home? Maybe I'm stereotyping, but that's not a country that has very balanced leaders. Hopefully they get a consolation win in the final game.

in 1966 when N korea beat Italy, the scorer of the winning goal was promoted in the military...i hope the reverse doesnt happen and they arent punished this time.

I just don't know what to make of this world cup! North Korea give Brazil a good game, Portugal look very average against Ivory Coast. Brazil beat ivory coast comfortably...logic would dictate that N Korea v portugal would be a close game..but then 7-0!!!

This world cup just seems to be defying logic!

Also, anyone else enjoying what is going on with the french squad with Anelka being sent home and them going on strike. Im finding it great entertainment

With the whole N-Korea issue, have a look here. It will likely be the most amusing twitter thread you've seen all week. It's supposedly the official twitter feed for the N. Korea PR guy I guess, but i kinda doubt it. If it is, that's even funnier

Haha, it was kinda sad South Africa didn't make it though, I would've liked them to classify.

well england are through. I think it says alot about how badly we have been playing that we are celebrating a 1-0 victory against Slovenia so much!!

Easy matches against germany and argentina for us now i think

    Yay the US beat Algeria

Edit: Apparently like 10 of my friends think Algeria is near Canada.

Should be a good last game, With Brazil through every chance they will field a weakened side, so a chance to get something there.

Brilliant, you got to love people's lack of geography:lol:
