What do you think of the term "queer"?

Coming from someone who personally has not experienced the way queer was used against LGBT people. I have said queer multiple times to myself in private. As a way to help me feel confident about who I am. While I figure out what being queer means for me the older I get. Although I understand that my relationship to the word wouldn’t be the same for others. So wether or not I would say queer around other LGBT people. Depends on how they feel about it.
