So it seems wearing wigs is more accepted around here than I thought.... Maybe that'll be on my next to-buy-list then....

Are you aware of how many MtFs here are wearing wigs?

Trust me we are very accepting here.

(*hug*) Thanks everyone. You've all been incredibly helpful. Wakimg up to all this positivity is a wonderful way to start the day off. I think I'm going to grow my hair out. Even if I only look like a girl from the back, I'll look like a girl. And then I'll be halfway there!

Even if that wasn't the case, I'd like to think we're very accepting anyway.

Serious question: how do you find "dressing" (full, or 1 article of clothing, make-up) correlates to your self of steem? Something I'm interested in processing. So thank you.

When I dress like a man, I feel crappy, I hate everyone and everything and I lose the will to do anything.

When I wear MY clothes, I feel cute and happy and I feel motivated. Even though I maintain (no matter what you lot say) that I am basically unattractive physically, I definitely feel more attractive dressed than I ever did dressed as a guy.

Before I went fulltime, I would tuck and such for work, one day I ran late, didn't have time to do it, and I felt horrible the whole day because of that one detail.

Dressing male, which I do normally at the moment: I feel nothing, it's natural to me, been doing it for 21 years. Very apathetic about a lot of things, bit unmotivated to do a lot, but will see friends and can have fun.

Dressing female, I'm normally just happy, I'm smiling more. Previous pics were just me wearing things I had to pick up quickly from Primark before conference. But my latest pics, I bought a dress I really wanted and got excited about, had an amazing time in it and have had a beaming grin ever since! Never felt so happy.

Also, from the other side of the coin, clothes were a HUGE thing for me. I still have pretty awful top dysphoria but I started dressing as a guy all of the time at age 12 and felt SO much better. It's amazing how something as simple as a piece of fabric can change ones entire emotional state.

I wear a shirt and a tie or polo each day. So damn drab. So...

Fucking eh. It reminds me of a stale cubicle. So rigid so formal. As I have been saying and others have echoed I look AND feel happier as female me.

I told my therapist that I don't get angry or drive fast when I'm female. My male side is impatient and grumpy a lot. I feel at peace being me. It's different.

Whenever I have to wear female clothes I get really depressed and embarrassed and it pretty much ruins my whole day...I can't really enjoy myself like that it gives me bad top dysphoria
Dressing in male clothes is so much nicer and it feels so natural
