Pepto Bismol would fix that up in a jiffy. As for dizziness and death... well... Being dizzy is fun! (Unless you are driving then I'm sure those in the car are a little less then amused.) and death.... well... oh well!

 

Well this very interesting question. On an emotional level i would say that a year ago i woud say yes but now it's a no. It would be nice to not have to come and have more social acceptance but i like liking bois. On an intellectual level I wouldnt really lose anything by taking it. The only thing that changes (apart the obvious) is that it would be easier to have children. Not sure that if thats a good thing or not. On a deeper level how would it change the perception of sexuality if it could be changed by simply taking chemicals.

 

That depends on how the pill works. If I also liked women emotionally and didn't care for guys, then yes. I think at least 50% of the people that claim they would never take it would do it in a heartbeat if it was actually possible.

The only way I would say "no" to this would be if I had a great boyfriend. But I don't.

 

Yeah... I think more then 50% of those who said they wouldn't take it... said that to show "pride" because they know there really isn't a cure for this "genetic defect" (as some so affectionately call it) so they would never have to face this situation in real life.

There was a time in my life when I would've taken it. But, for better or for worse, I like who I am. I actually like being different.

That said, I'm not really one of the "pride" types - I'm only "out" to a handful of my friends, and am still scared to come out to my parents.

 

I am 58 married have lovely chrildren i was gay at the age of 14 suppressed it tell 50 would not go back if i could would not take a pill only to go back to 14 and come out of the closet

 

i dont think anyone in this forum is denying there is anything wrong with being gay. if being gay just meant im a boy who likes boys, then i wouldnt have a problem! but its all the baggage that goes along with being gay, isn't it?
-the fear of being myself, for fear of rejection
-the negative views shared by many towards our community
-the problems -anzieties, harrasment, insecurities and shame felt growing up
-the feeling that you are always different, and in some cases made to feel inferior
-the knowledge that i can't have kids of my own with my partner

No.. No way. I've only just recently accepted who I am, and begun slowly tell people and hanging out with other gay people, and I've NEVER been this happy in my WHOLE life. I never knew what life was until I've come out to people. And I like being Different.

 

I would take it. It's sad that I would lose my interest to guys but I'm a coward and I'm scared of the trials that will come to me as I grow older.
