Two people of the same sex go to kiss and whoever doesn't pull away wins. Normally two straight people, but apparently gay people can play and lose...

I'm not 100% sure of whether or not I was born with one, but I suspect not.

As a kid, I did a lot of physical activites (bike riding, swimming, basketball, volleyball, soccer, etc). I've hit A LOT of bumps while riding my bicycle, and I've never felt anything pop/ blead down there (except during my period).

I don't care if I have one or not, but I'll be happy if I don't (no hymen=less painful first time!).

Historically, the concept of "virginity" revoled around whether of not you've ever stuck anything "down there" (including tampons, medical procedures... even if you stick your own finger up there to wipe something out!). If a women didn't bleed during her first time, she was considered "sexually impure," even if she had never slept with anyone else.

Therefore, the worse "virgin" thing is pretty much a symbol of misogyny.

Agreed. Virginity is by very definition based on misogyny since only women had hymens, and back in the old days it was about a woman being a man's piece of property or merchandise (hence they would face consequences if they 'lost it' to the wrong guy).

And It's still pretty sexist today hence the 'lesbians are still virgins, and rape victims are not' disgusting bullcrap. When you argue against it with someone they just say 'That's just the traditional definition of the word!'. But yet they never complain about men calling themselves 'virgins' even though traditionally, male virginity does not exist and was 'made up' by modern society.

I'm 16 and I have yet to loose my verginity. Yes I'm a loser , I do know it. But I am not allowed to talk about my homosexuality, let alone have a relationship with someone.

I was 20 (last February) when I first had sex...that was my last time as well. I was used and felt so horrible that I vowed to not have sex until I knew I found the one and they vowed to never leave me.

So I tell everyone that I am practically a virgin.

You are not a loser. Romance, sex, friends with benefits is about luck as much as it is "skill". It's like someone asked me the other day, "Have you had sex with a woman before?" "No, I haven't, but that doesn't mean I don't like them." I was in the right place at the right time, or I would have zero experience. I had one friend with benefits in my teens and haven't had sex since. Does that mean I'm a loser for the past 12 years? No, certain times of your life allow certain opportunities, while others do not. Do not feel bad about it.

As far as when I lost my virginity, it depends what base we are talking about. :icon_wink Laid on top of my friend at age 12 as a joke, dry humped at 13, frotted and fondled at 14, went all the way around 15-16. It was a natural slow progression.

Perhaps I should simply plan to have my tombstone engraved with: "Went to his grave a virgin."

Uhh u think ur a loser for being a vergin at age 16?! Really?...I'm almost 24 now and have never had sex or been in a relationship or even a date! So virgin at age 16 is not a big deal really! And by 'virgin' I mean never had any kind of sexual experience with anyone before. Just so that's clear lol

I was 20. It was not good. She was just using me. I regret it, but at the same time, I felt horrible being that old and still a virgin.

I've never been with a girl, but I think I was 12 the first time I had sex with a guy. Oral and anal. I've only ever been with two people, both of whom turned out to be asshats, so I kind of regret doing what I did when I did. I haven't done anything with another person in three years though (I'm now 17), and I plan to keep it that way until I'm in a serious relationship.
