As a trans person yourself, you should know that "can't be too careful" should be the order of the day.

Good on you Monika and Claudette, always stay safe. Pepper spray and rape whistles, at least, for all us girls!

I agree but I guess I didn't think about it for guys until Doc chimed in. Even though it's my biggest fear, I just always assumed that I could scare someone off. (I inherited my dad's booming voice of doom :lol:slight_smile:. *goes off to look for pepper spray*

I'd say for anyone who worries about not being able to physically fend off a perpetrator. I'm not exactly in peak physical condition. I live in a pretty good area but can't be too careful, especially since the part of town I'm in's not exactly the best.

I'm actually about to move to a city with one of the highest crime rates in the country and just for that, I plan to carry a hiking staff. In the snow, it'll help with balance. If anyone touches me... :***: <<< parental discretion advised.

^ Yup. Heaven knows even as a guy I couldn't fend off hardly anything with this scrawny frame.

 I love this  Get 'em, tigress!

Even at my size (6'5" ~220 lbs) I am very careful about where and when I go dressed en femme - an extremely sad fact of life I'm afraid. I got a little freaked out the one time a creepy guy followed me through the mall even though I'm sure I could have kicked his butt.

Unfortunately, I get hit on by macho dudes and butch women... eww... Occasionally, a femme gay guy will flirt with me and it's like 'thank you, God! Someone who doesn't smell like Axe the same as me!' >.< Why don't femme girls ever like me? *sob* It's because I can't fix a car, isn't it...? -.-:roflmao:

I can fix almost anything else... And I am the MASTER of furniture construction. But my dad taught me stuff and also woodburning. I was obsessed with tools as a kid and asked for them every year for 3 years. Finally, I got a giant toolbench so a BBQ grill was next!

Same here for some odd reason, i attract weird people for instance my neighbor who's a mechanic always has this weird grin on his face when he talks to me. I don't know what it is but i make him nervous. But when i talk to him i am always in my male form. He hasn't seen my female form if he did he would probably stalk me. Talking about future relationship. I am thinking about my dad and what would his reaction be once i begin turning female before his eyes. Just the thought of that for me is scary even though my dad shares my fun-loving, easy going attitude he is closed minded like my brother. And my brother acts like my mom but he is closed minded like my dad. :/
