Do You Have To Hide That You Go On EC?

Yeah, but I always have to delete my browser history because my family has no concept of privacy or personal space.

I've got my own pc, but i am a tad anal about hiding EC still, yeah. When someone suddenly bursts into my room and I'm on the forum, I switch tabs faster than I would for porn.

 

Yep, I do hide the fact that I go on EC because I'm not out to anyone yet

Luckily I have my own computer and my family doesn't know the password to it, but a lot of the time I'm hesitant to leave it open. Honestly, sometimes when I'm on Tumblr (I follow a lot of LGBTQ blogs)/EC I get super nervous as well because I have to switch tabs rapidly when family members walk by.

Anyways eventually when I come out this won't be a problem anymore, but at the moment I'm being super careful haha.

 

I have a frame set and EC is in one frame while skateboard-city is an another and it's through Tumblr so I have a password on the frameset. EC never shows up in the history and when I exit the history deletes

 

Yes. I always use my desktop (in my room) or iPhone to access EC. Both are secure from others in the household. I am never on EC if there's anyone else with me.

 

I recently got a remodeling done for my computer room, it's got huge monitors and everything, however I'm thee only one with a key to that room

Yup, first (and only) time my mom caught me, I wasn't even on the tab. It was just switched to another tab when she walked in. And she noticed the name of an unopened tab, she asked what it was and I closed it. She googled it later and it was a fight... Since then in almost every argument that involves me being gay, she always says something like "You and your damned Empty Closets!"

It's not that I have to hide the I'm on here, I just don't like people snooping on me.

 

I use EC on my laptop, so nobody can check my search history, but when I walk in a room, I have to walk like an awkward penguin so that nobody sees my screen. I'll probably stop doing it when I come out, but until then...

Considering my PC has 3 passwords on it to even get into the operating system, nevermind the password i have for this forum, i'd say yes.
But i protect everything with almost idiotically long passwords, my minecraft password is 34 characters.

 

I don't really go out of my way to hide it, since my family respects my privacy for the most part.

 

Its not out in the open but it isn't hiding either. Me and mom are close but if she wants to cross the line about me and myself.... I dont mind having to get ugly and mean
