Do You Have To Hide That You Go On EC?

I have my own computer, but I do hide the fact I go on EC. If someone comes into my room I switch tabs and I've since password protected logging onto my computer which I didn't before. (Let's be honest, who knows what happens at home while I'm at work)

 

Nobody's ever caught me.
I'm not sure how my parents would react, but whatever; I'll take it as it comes.
Besides, I have my own laptop.

 

No. I'm out and my photo is displayed against all postings I make on here. It's fine.

 

I don't really have to hide since my parents don't really check my browser history or anything. I don't really mind if they find out though, I haven't come out to them but they'd probably still be accepting of me, they're pretty chill. I feel like somehow, if they found out I'm on EC, it'll be easier for me to come out to them and explain myself

 

I do hide that I'm on EC. That's often why my posts are so patchy; because I need to get some time alone which can sometimes be quite difficult.

 

All the time, I always remove my brower history. I sucks having to hide.

 

I had an ec account before this one that I deleted, way back when I was still questioning. My older brother found it but had the decency to not really do anything more than mention it (which freaked me out plenty, but he didn't tell anyone). Now I only check it in a private window, just to make sure my mom doesn't see it before I come out to her myself.

 

I'm not out yet so I try to be discreet. Nobody else uses my PC but I'm always careful to delete my browsing history. Right now I'm on my phone. I don't go on EC in public places though. There's paranoia for you.

 

Yes, I do, even though I'm out to my entire nuclear family. They would think I'm getting negatively influenced by this site, but for goodness' sake, it's a support site, not a "come here, we'll make you gay" site, which, for some reason, exists in my parents' worlds. :dry:

lol this deffo sounds like me! i make sure if im on here i have other tabs ready to just click if anyone comes in, if someone outstays there welcome its awkward though as im just there staring at the same screen while they stare at me staring at it.

 

I tend to come on here when people aren't around even though I probably don't have to.

 

I wouldn't hide it now but I still have yet to try a "But Mom, have you seen how messy my closet is? I thought this was a home improvement site!" joke.

 

If it's up on my phone in the tiny ass break room we have at work I'll put it in another tab... which is stupid because my workplace is gay friendly but whatever I'M NOT READY...

 

Sometimes. Even though I came out to my parents a while ago, this computer is in the middle of the family room, and sometimes, I have to monitor my activities so nothing "inappropriate" catches their attention. If people weren't so nosy, it wouldn't be a problem, but...
