Sitting by a heater after coming in from the cold, even better with a cup of hot tea. :3

Going outside when it's cloudy, but the sun is giving the clouds a sort of pinkish/orange glow, making a distortion of color in the sky.

Walking outside and feeling the warmth from the sun on your skin.

After I shave my legs...and my skin brushes against my clothing/any fabric. BEST FEELING EVAR.

When I'm about to go to sleep, and the blankets are so warm and comfortable I'm just content laying there; I don't go to sleep right away, but I bask in the warmth the blankets surround me in.

Physically, I would say tongue contact to a metal plate in your body. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: It's weird but it feels gooood.

Emotionally, I'd say being in love. There's nothing quite like it, especially when it hurts.
It can be that or it could be with music!

There's beauty in everyday life, and it's pretty apparent in nature. I definitely count that, although sometimes taken for granted by me.

It's that one day/moment, everyone has at least one, I am lucky to get quite a few.
That one day, maybe 5 am in the morning and for some reason your awake, can you picture it? lol you try to go back to sleep but your restless, you get up and look outside and the sun is rising, you probably laugh to yourself thinking when was the last time you saw that, then suddenly the day feels good, your not bogged down by what has to be done today or what you might deal with, all you feel is "good" nearly Euphoric. That one moment no bad thoughts no stress just feeling like the world is yours, almost as though by simply willing something it will happen. You get up and decide to hit random on your music player, and it just happens to be the song you wanted to hear that second. The day goes well nothing special but that morning made it feel even better. You get home and turn on the tv and its a show you like.

Long lol sorry, just trying to get the point across. If you have not had that yet I swear you will. Maybe it won't be the exact same but you will know it ^^. I had a midnight one, staring at the night sky for 3 1/2 hours forgot my phone tv and internet just.... ~.~ relaxed and had a great moment

Oh, 43c hot springs after 15 days of camping/hiking without a shower. FIFTEEN DAYS.

(actually it might not have been 15 but it was definitely in double figures, it's all a blur)

The feeling of fingers lightly across my back, neck and hair. It`s not sexual, it`s soothing in a way, like when you rub a great white on that special place on the nose, and it goes all docile. That`s me when you run your fingers in my hair, lol. Other pleasant sensations is how water run against your ankles when you`re standing with bare feet on a beach in the water, and how the wind hits you softer and warmer at the end of a long winter, making it feel like spring is in the air.

Stretching, feels really nice and especially after an exhausting day. Better with the snaps and pops of joints.

Curled up in a blanket cocoon when it's cold out, so very nice.

Listening to music is great for me, it can be such a relaxing and uplifting to me when I'm down.

Rollercoasters. All 'scary' rides, in fact! Generally anything that's supposed to make people release adrenalin tends instead to make me feel like I exist on a higher plane of pure tranquility and peace. I know it's really weird, but the overload of physical and visual stimulation just seems to put my brain into neutral in an oddly wonderful, euphoric way! As an atheist, it's the closest thing to a 'spiritual' experience I know of.

Musician things, but when you learn how to properly play one of your favourite songs on the guitar, or pull off a technical riff, the pride brought by it is amazing. Same with performing a concert in front of a large crowd, and hearing everyone cheer and scream joyously.. you feel invincible.

I have to cast my vote for the feeling of waking up early in the morning and realizing that you can lay back down under the warm covers and go back to sleep. I actually have a second alarm that wakes me up around 30 minutes before I have to wake up, just so that I can lay back down :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    1) The absolute peace and quiet (besides the hum of tires on pavement) while driving to work early in the morning, even though getting up that early SUCKS!
    2) The feeling I get when reading Pride & Prejudice and Elizabeth finally realizes she loves Darcy.
    3) The sound of rain.
    4) Walking in warm, spring rain.
    5) Being outdoors, especially at night.

sitting in bed after a long day, reading a great book, with the sound of rain tapping away gently on your window pane as the thunder rolls in on a summer's night.
