What's the best non-sexual sensation ever?

Waking or running alone in the streets, with the clouds drizzing.

 

MDMA

Joking, I mean it's pretty much impossible to be happier than when on MDMA but it's not really worth the depression for the next week.

I guess drunk clubbing with friends or playing rugby is when I'm most happy.

 

Either The Baggies scoring the winning goal in injury time of a close match, or grinding out a screaming guitar solo on stage, in front of an audience that are going bonkers, then getting cheered when you Finnish.

 

The relief you get after taking a big dump.

 

That first desperate sip of water after I've been thirsty for what seems like forever.

Playing F-Zero GX gives me a thrill, but too long and I get a bit nauseated :icon_sad:.
Getting a new game or gadget and trying it out for the first time is usually a nice experience.
Listening to a favorite song, or a particularly fast-paced song with strong bass, while driving a car feels quite nice.

 

The first bite of a really REALLY big piece of homemade cheesecake, the feeling of a soft, fuzzy carpet between your toes (the same with soft grass), the smell of nature after it rains, and, my favorite, when someone scratches your back lightly with the tips of their fingernails. ^_^

 

Laying in the grass on a summer day, with my eyes closed feeling the suns warmth on my skin

 

The blissful confusion of waking up and lying in bed not fully knowing if you're awake or not.

 

A few, in no particular order.
A massage. Done deep by someone with strong hands. I always bring my own music. The only stuff our local massage therapy place has is some of that weird noise that sounds like it was scratched out on a cheap guitar with one string.
Riding my Harley early on a beautiful morning with no traffic. If it's over a mountain pass in the Rockies, all the better. And I'd rather listen to the engine sing to me than the sound system.
Sitting on my deck with a cup of coffee watching the sun come up through the woods beyond the yard.

 

the perfect temp between hot and cold is a favorite

 

Having a hot bubble bath on a cold winter day

 

That moment when you go over the edge of a rollercoaster.

 

Midnight cigarette... yeaaaahhh.
