    Saw this really nice adoption video (involving a gay couple).

    It then hit me that I can't adopt with a spouse a child in Texas (I can do a single-parent adoption, but my spouse wouldn't have any rights).

    If I ever have kids, it's still probably 10 years away, but it just sucks when there's something you can't do (adopt as a couple) simply because of your sexual orientation.
