When I was young I had this red Teddy Bear that I got for Christmas one year. This bear has always met so much to me because I got from a toy drive for families who were poor and could not afford to give their kids a lot for Christmas, (my family was and still is not very well off. It got really bad a few times). I could not find it for the life of me I thought that I might have even donated it away, I have donated most of my stuff animals away. Anyways while I was clean today I found it. I almost started crying when I found it.

Yep, lack of adequate space on the side of a main road. That's not something you want to see when you're looking to get somewhere on a bike.

Wow, I was not prepared for that.
Some company actually made cock flavoured seasoning and I happened to see it right next to the chicken flavoured seasoning while buying food with my sister.
I have to admit, it made me giggle.

On a side note: first part of the chemistry exams went well.

My brother started his trip to Canada with his friends at 11AM. He was the last person to leave the house. Everyone else was gone for the whole day, and no one else returned back to the house.

When my parents and I got home from my sister's house at 8:30 PM, the door was left open. It's possible that he didn't lock the door.

Our first reaction was that there might be robbers in the house, so my dad opted to call 911. I said no and called my brother first. He claims to have locked the door. We searched through the house, and thank goodness nothing was stolen. That alleviated our fears of robbers being in the house... until we saw that his window was left open. That means he forgot to lock it. It's possible that someone entered the house via his window. He's such a class act.

There goes my sleep tonight. It's not like I sleep much anyway since I have insomnia.

I wish there were a "SparkNotes" feature for some of the longer forum posters.

Had a fantastic talk with my math professor today.

I came in to get an early look at my exam and talk about it, if it happened to be bad enough (was so much better than I was worried it was going to be) - anyhow we ended up having a long chat mostly related to social anxiety. Obviously (given her field you could've guessed :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:) she's had a lot of experiences similar to mine - but she had a lot of good tips, in addition. I'm definitely going to try to apply them in future social endeavors.

Feeling much better about her class now.

Went to therapy- dredged up lotta momma issues so kinda rough.*

Strong possibility I might have an anxiety disorder...

Anyway, was riding bus home and I get off at the stop with a guy. Guy's a missionary and we happen to be going the same way. He's trying to get me to join his church. After declining a couple times, I finally snap at him "I'm an atheist!"

"Oh well we talk about atheists in this book," he says without missing a beat. He holds up a book. "Have you ever heard about communist Russia?"

"Have you ever heard of the inquisition?" I demand.

"Um...no." He persists after about his church but not until he's stopped everyone else on the the street to get them to join.

Lost him though at an intersection but man. Bet he never converted anyone, lol.*

Why am I not asleep yet? Bit more than 2 hours past when I usually do.... even drank a little bit of hot cider in addition to the sleeping pill I usually take.

Nah, I know. Assholes in every religion (or lack-thereof). But man. This guy though. I've met nice missionairies and man, this guy wasn't one of them.

But yeah... Been long ass day. Sisters are over so my mom could go out (avoided her though, thankfully I had an excuse) and love them but kinda stressful being around them in public (misgendering, them being hyper, etc).

They're back at my place. Hoping they calm down.

"In a moment, you were everything to me."

This project keeps going to darker and darker places. I happen to believe that is a good thing and it means that it is gradually becoming more and more realistic. Though it did get me thinking today; what exactly are the limits to fiction that can be held in primary school libraries? Adolescences aren't necessarily my target demographic, but I am curious for future reference. The Song of Fire and Ice series is allowed in secondary school libraries, so they can't be that strict.

These days, seems less that I dislike being around people not out of some misanthropic tendencies, but in becoming to close with some that I can only imagine an inevitable drifting apart and/or moving away. It's hard to keep motivated with making friends, socialising and so forth if everyone assumes that the 'close' ones in your life will be in and out as though moving through a revolving door.

I had a strange white woman try to convert me to an obscure branch of pseudo-Christian Japanese spiritualism on a bus last month. They're inescapable.

I got a laptop charger with multiple ends to connect to different computers. Thank God my mum bought it; $100 for it seems a bit excessive, even with the 10 connections.

I don't even know what church this guy was from- started with an H? But yeah. Seemed obscure. He wasn't passing around a bible, it was some self-published book called Tortured for Christ?

Gargh, the amount of people who are "socially liberal but economically conservative" is annoying me. "We love you, but we'll do absolutely nothing to support you when you need it" doesn't strike the right chord with me.

    Ugh...

Therapy dredged up a lot of shit. So it's kinda a relief because now it's like 'no, your childhood wasn't normal and it wasn't your fault' but at the same time it's rough having to go back and address all that.

I always felt like I was worthless and I wasn't doing enough. And I kinda knew something was off with my mother and I's relationship (hell, I write about it all the time on here) but I guess I didn't know what...

Had a book my therapist recommended. And I can't help but notice a lot of things that ring true in it. "Toxic Parents" by Susan Forward...
