    DO IT.

But yeah. That's hilarious. And simultaneously unfortunate.

I once saw a sign posted in an elevator saying 'Dear resident(s) of room _____, please remember that you have neighbors. The next time I hear screaming or banging, I will assume you are being assaulted and call the cops."

    That might be effective.

Friend of mine is getting suspended for using the men's room. He's already been reprimanded and restricted to the nurse's- his principal's a fucking cunt. He got caught in the wrong place at the wrong time- trying to see if he can get a hold of a trans rights organization.

That sounds like a good plan. You could always try to get him in contact with the transgender law center, or the ACLU or something like that. Hopefully, things will work out for him.

Man, I can't handle the heat. Almost passed out in the store, then I thought I was going to puke my guts out, then blacked out in the shower when cold water hit me. Why do I live here again?

Pointed him in that direction. He lives in Texas and transgender laws seem to be just generally shitty down there...

Yeah, they really are down there.. I hope that he can get things worked out for him. It sucks that we are in the position where we can have action taken against us for using the bathroom...

Yeah... Hoping it works out for him. His family doesn't want to get involved in some legal battle so dunno if there's much he can do as a minor.

The only protection we LGBTers have in Texas are hate crime laws that enhance penalties if a crime was motivated by race, religion, ethnicity, disability, or sexual preference. Gender identity is not protected at any level (except maybe local ordinances).

Yeah, couldn't find anything on the books that protected gender identity. I mean, I think up until really recently, Texas didn't recognize sex changes so there was the case of a transwoman who was able to marry her wife because Texas refused to recognize that she was female.

But yeah. Is it fair to say Texas might be one of the last states to join the bandwagon?

I definitely worked too long today. I can feel it. I should have left it for tomorrow morning, it wouldn't have made a big difference.

    ...wait a sec.

If I have sex with a clone of myself, is that gay sex or masturbation?

Is having sex with an identical twin masturbation? :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Regarding Texas and gender changes, it's a fuckin' minefield. I am a US citizen, native Texan with maybe 5-6 generations living here, and they ask for crapload of documents at the DMV to do anything.

Texas requires a court order that a judge basically is told you've had surgery or whatever criteria the judge sets forth. Texas doesn't have uniform laws, I think, and much can be left to the whims of the local judge.

According to the DMV, for a sex change, "A transgender person must bring an original certified court order verifying the change."

Well, but let's say I went back in time and met myself from like, a week ago or something... :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Damn. That's convoluted. Really glad I live in a state where the process is streamlined.
