Small Victories

I need to shave...Wednesday I should call and make that laser appointment...

But I've been much better lately. I think of myself as a GIRL the past couple days. Not a girl stuck as a boy. A GIRL. One that just looks like a boy, for now.

 

Job interviews: the perfect excuse to wear a tie.

And I went into my hairdressers right after, so I was all suited up, and they charged me for a men's cut. Win.

 

You look beautiful! The dresses really suit you; I especially like the Zelda one (I don't know enough about Zelda to never a fan but I like the dress)

I won't lie, the cheaper price was a factor in my happy haircut experience, but the bigger one is that they just automatically picked the price for a man's haircut rather than a woman's.

No hair went down my back. A double win, maybe.

 

I just ordered my very first binder. It's crazy how such a small thing can make me smile so much. I can't wait for it to arrive!

 

My entire wardrobe was men's except for my pants. Today I bought some pants. I had the measurements, we went in and my fiance started to find his own while I got mine. We both had to take a few trips to the dressing room, but I found a nice pair! I had to buy a belt as well since I'm between two sizes. I was worried they would look too big on me but once I was home and had the belt on they look and feel great! they're relaxed fit which is new for me because all my previous pants were very tight fitting. They're much more comfortable and THE POCKETS. The pockets oh lord the pockets. My phone fits in my pocket now. I can start up an EDC.

not gender related but....

I was supposed to do a 3 hour course online with a test after for certification on something work related. its on things I've been doing for years anyway so I decided to challenge the exam and came out with an 85%. so im certified and didn't have to do a long and apparently boring course.

im calling that a victory.(!)(!)

Your figure looks particularly feminine in the high waisted floral print one.

 

it's actually a combo purple flowers and music print.

 

Yeah I read that in the description, but can't really see that part in the picture. You look very pretty though.

Yea, the music parts are small black print lines(scores) with music notes on them. not really easy to see in a low/medium res picture from a 3DS.
