Sexual Orientation

I chose 5 since i still find women attractive in clothes. I dont like to look at them when they are naked.

I picked 5 I have realized that I like girls but do have an attraction to some guys but thats it just an attraction nothing else I don't think I could be in a relationship with a guy.

 

I picked 5... there are some women I find really hot. I'm not sure if I could or would actually want to be sexual with them but hey... never say never.

 

The best part of Kinsey's scale is that (apologies to beckyg) heterosexuality ranks a big fat 0. I always found that rather amusing. And telling.

I'm probably a 5.5. There are select women who I find incredibly and strangely sexy, but for the most part, I only like guys.

 

3, heading to 4. the older i get, the more i like guys

 

i put 5. i can tell if a dude's hot, but...anything more than that's a no go (i have no desire to be "sexual" with one).

 

Isn't that kind of wierd? How can you not?

 

It doesn't seem weird to me - it's how I am!

 

I expect the same way someone who's 100% straight doesn't feel any kind of attraction to people of the same gender.

Phew, I have to say loads of people on here include me are going with 5, because that 's the way most teenagers feeling right now^^

I think I can find a female attractive and not beattracted.

I think I can go for a 6 because "slight heterosexual tendency" means you have a tendency to like the opposite sexually. Never have, and I doubt I ever will do. But people are going for 5 with the same point... so maybe that's what the 5 was intending to be?

I see myself as a 6 too. I've never been SEXUALY atracted to a woman. I did grow up thinking in the straight mindset to think that I was supposed to as joeyconnick said, but I'm totally gay

There is something I'm kind of curious about. A lot of people on here commented that they've gone further down the scale from starting more heterosexual to being more homosexual over thier liftime.
Does it ever happen the opposite way?

Does this pattern exist just because people are getting more out of their heterosexual comfort zone to be more acceptable of homosexuality for themselves?

Once we find "the one" does our sexual atraction gradually lean more toward whatever sex they happen to be over time?

 

I wouldn't say "just because" but I to think that is one reason, and probably a main reason.

Over time many of us reach a stage where being gay is just how we are and is not of any great significance or importance. Like some people are left-handed and don't generally think about that difference, except when thee encounter something that is designed for the right hand only (like some computer mice and trackerballs). It's the same with being gay for me - it is not of any significance most of the time, but occasionally there is a situation where I have to consider how to react or whatever.

That would be a good question for some of our older bisexual members. TriBi?

 

done and done... although i think 2 and 4 may be the wrong way around. Since 1 is completely hetro and 6 is completely homo. Would make sense if 2 made you more hetro than homo (but it doesn't)

I voted a 5. I only actively search out guys, But I do look at females every once in a while. I'd never date one, and am only slightly attracted to them. Girls are too complex for me anyway .
