How old we're you when you discovered your attraction to the same sex?

Oh gosh... I'd been crushing on kimpossible from about the age of three.

And of course, there was the redhead who was grades ahead in my private catholic elementary school.

And of course, there was my soccer rival, Olivia, who I was desperately in love with.

I didn't figure it out until seventh grade, though. In a very unsure journal entry where I said in teeny tiny lettering "so, I might be slightly, ever so slightly, bisexual."

 

I think I was 11ish...I had the hugest crush on Allison Mack from Smallville.

LOL Kim possible was so wonderful! Football/Soccer was so bad for that for me as well...Although I am impressed you knew the word Bisexual in Seventh grade. My private catholic school would have sent someone to detention hall for swearing if anyone had mentioned it.

 

I can't remember not thinking i was gay. Even when I was 5 I remember thinking boys were prettier than girls. About 11 and 14 I wanted to be Bi, but it was really forced and didn't last very long or go very far. I've been fully aware I was gay for about the last year, and before that with some gaps. I even remember crushes I used to have. There was a boy named Manu who I used to really want to hug. I don't think I've ever admitted that before, wow.

 

About twelve, though I didn't accept it for another few years.

 

twelve and a half. I started looking at guys in my highschool... thought it was nothing until last year...

 

I've never liked girls for as long as I can remember, but I only really thought about it when I was 11 or so. Honestly I asked some guy I knew who had a really good body to take his shirt off at a theme park once so I think that should've really been a sign...

 

Ohh, I had crushes on boys when I was reaally little, but it didn't quite take shape until I hit puberty and started thinking about sex. And of course, as soon as that all started I was 100% attracted to guys, which was about age 11. So, I guess concretely I knew as soon as I started puberty at 11, but abstractly I still knew before that, so it came as no surprise, when I discovered, that sex I was sexually into guys.

I guess I've pretty much just known about myself my whole life...there were no "ah-hah" moments, for me, everything that happened felt natural and expected, even though it caused me shame and self hatred for long periods of time.

 

I think it was the moment I hit puberty when I would look at my friends and think: "wow, they have like beautiful bodies"
Then there was this time when I constantly wanted to hug some of them.
And last summer, I was out with a friend when she suddenly hold my hand. I felt something very weird....that I've never felt before. From that moment on I was crushing on her and (when she wasn't around ) I started looking at other girls which I found attractive.

 

I would have to say around 14, although I can remember feeling more attracted to other guys from as young as 12.

I was 15 though when I really started to acknowledge it. There was this one guy at school I just couldn't take my eyes off.

 

Early 20s

 

13 partially but not completely till 16

 

13 as bisexual, 18 (my age now) as a lesbian

I'd always felt a sort of attraction to boys since I was like 10 or so but I went to an all boys school and didn't see girls ery often so I assumed those feelings were normal and that I'd be more attracted to girls, but then when I had a girlfriend when I was 13 I realized that I was attracted to boys, not girls.

 

As a kid I didn't really know what "attraction" or "love" was, but I knew what gay meant sometime during elementary school seeing as my relatives did a good job accusing me of it.

Anyways, I spent a lot of childhood experimenting/trying to get guys to experiment/ just being a whore lol. But when I was in elementary school, I saw guys having crushes on girls so I thought, "oh, I'm supposed to do that to." which was my mentality for 1st-5th grade.

So, I knew, but didn't know, at around the age of 5ish? 6ish?

 

I think when I was around 5, I had a 'crush' on one of my best friends more along the lines of admiration and fascination like others have said. Discovered girls weren't meant to like other girls so buried all those feelings until high school when they re-surfaced again but convinced myself it was just innocent girl crushes. Only recently accepted my attraction to the same sex.

 

I was maybe 11 or 12. And 72.
What happened in between, I can't account for.

 

I first realized that I was attracted to girls around the age of 13. I came out for the first time as bisexual at 14. I went from liking ONE girl to like all of them in a matter of years. Though, when I think back there may have been signs. I mean, my favorite play/musical is about a guy that wears a rainbow coat. I was born to love rainbows :newcolor:
