How old we're you when you discovered your attraction to the same sex?

I stared to realize that I wasn't straight earlier on around when I was about 14/15, and then I finally realized I was gay when I was 17 around. Even though I have had short outbursts of confusion that was normally tied to my own denial as well as pressure from my "family.

 

When I was about 12 I "knew" although I didn't know the word for it ... but I think I liked a guy even when I was way younger!

 

Around 19 I fully realized

 

I think I wondered at 13. But I knew for sure at 14.

 

Honestly I would say at 14 I was attracted to guys but I was in complete total denial and denied everything that would even suggest I was gay. But that's another story for another time, At 16 I realized that my feelings for guys(attraction(romantic)) were hurting me and so I used Aseuxality as a crutch, because it felt safe and I wouldn't get hurt by anything like that. At 18 I started actually having thoughts about sex with guys(my first real sexual thoughts), at 20 I've accepted myself and I'm nearing 21.

 

When I was 7 at school we had our first swimming lessons, and that's when I noticed other boys, but at the time didn't understand it. Only when I was 11 and the gym classes started at high school did I seriously start to wonder about my sexuality, but I didn't know much about homosexuality, and I kept it as my secret because I thought I was a pervert for being attracted to guys (because I didn't know any better) This was in the late 90s and early 00s, and I was pretty sheltered at that point.

 

Started noticing an attraction for some of my male friends when I was 15-16, but it took me until a few months ago to come to accept it.

 

Well, I started noticing it at about 9 - 10 years old, but I didn't really understand it until I was 12.

 

Noticed at 13. Ignored. Toyed with it. Ignored it for a few more years. Now I completely accept it.

 

Started noticing other boys when I was 11. Played around with my friend from 13-19. Looked at tons of gay porn from 16 years old and on. Finally, I realized I wasn't straight at 23, and this wasn't a phase. Came out this past year.
