My mum was actually more supportive than I anticipated about our split, but she saw another side to him by the end.

I think she would be okay with me being gay or at least try to be. It doesn't make saying the words any easier though. I know I would feel better for doing it because I felt immediately better when I admitted it to myself.

Goodness living with your parents sounds like bit is going to be "interesting". At least if you move away you will have more freedom to discover yourself.
