Even if I did, I'm pretty sure it would be worth it. :sunglasses: Better than being someone I'm not and suffering all my life because of it.

What if this "Hell" is actually just some sort of really big bar/club type of thing, as an alternative to Heaven? And I bet the Bible was written by jealous people who failed to get in . . .

Too much conspiracy theory for meh

I don't worry about it, because i'm an atheist.

Even if i'm wrong, if God is a benevolent being, he wouldn't judge someone because they love another person of the same sex. Being a good or bad person isn't dependant on your orientation.

If i'm wrong and the fanatics are right, and God indeed judges people based on their orientation, then i wouldn't follow him even if i was certain of his existence. A god that judges people based on who they love, instead of separating bad people from good people, doesn't deserve my respect.

Instead of worrying about going to hell, think more about what makes you worthy of going to heaven.

As a Christian, sometimes I do worry about going to hell and I get scared when I think about it. But then I remember that God is an all-loving, powerful, and merciful being and I don't think He'll punish me for being gay. Then again, I can't claim to speak for Him and when the day comes that I die, it's between Him and me on what my fate will be.

    the upside is this.
if you end up going to hell for being gay, you will get to at least talk to all the people around you that are there for judging you for being gay. No sin is greater than another.
least you get in the last I told you so before the flames hit your ass..
look me up, I'll already be there somewhere. I lusted. (among other things)

My reasons for going to Hell WILL never be as innocent as my tender love for a human with a penis. My actual sentence will be quite worse than that if Hell is anything like Dante described it.
I'm an agnostic atheist so the question of Hell or Heaven is an open-ended statement for me so I have no fear, just uncertainty

I don't believe in an afterlife, you die, you are dead forever and ever, world keeps spinning, yadi yadi yada. I worry more about actual death.

When it comes to the bible and Christianity I find it ridiculous that some people claim gay people can't come to heaven, yet a murderer or rapist can repent and still make it into heaven. That's so fucking stupid nobody should even have to explain "why?" it is stupid, because it's so fucking apparently stupid.

And why would a god even care about such a "gentle sin" as homosexuality when the world is fucking crumbling before hirs eyes. As if this deity would actually care about 2 men or 2 women loving each other when people are dying all the time from starvation, wars are raging, there's torture, the planet is dying, "his creations" are getting extinct because of us. The world is literally a massive shithole, yet this deity would care about my sexuality?? Sure, whatever mr. and mrs. Christian people.

Actually, I'm told I'm already going there because of being an Atheist. So I guess being gay makes no difference anyway, then. :rolle:

    I like that theory.

Also Homosexuality is found in a lot of animal species, which according to most Christians can't sin. So then how can it be a sin if something that is still 'pure' do it?

Right. I always have questioned why God would create an animal (or human for that matter) with homosexuality if its something that he hates so much. I would think he would have more control than that since he is almighty

No, because I don't believe that there is an afterlife or a higher power that judges all of us.

Not at all, and even if I do go to hell then I don't care, I like who I am and I am sure God loves all his children the way that he created them; gay, straight, black, white; whatever.

No, I worry that I'm going to Hell because I'm wrathful and sullen.
