I've drank about 3 times so far and that is like, close to saint like compared to the other teens my age and I didn't like it at all. I don't plan on drinking alcohol at all when I am older either, not because of the weight thing but just because it tastes nasty to me.

I usually avoid drinking alcohol, but sometimes it's necessary. Without it I can't enjoy any parties, or certain companies.

If there is a new drink I can try, I often want to take a sip to get to understand the flavour of it. =) If I already know it, or if I have to buy / order alcohol myself, then I don't do it. =)

I used to put away quite a bit of scotch. My primary care doctor knew it and whenever he did my routine blood work he would say, "Surprisingly your liver is ok". It worked. I switched to red wine and cut way down on the volume. Figured it would be easier on my insides.

Not often. But tons when I do. There's nothing quite like waking up in a hotel bathtub with the water running in Paris, having no idea where you are or what you're doing.

Rarely. I'm not a happy drunk let's just say. Blacked out once and the embarrassing story my friends narrated to me was a shameful deterrent. Love the taste of certain beverages though, like wines and spirits, but just a taste....My family has a history of alcoholism but I can manage myself well surprisingly.

I am also underage, but everyone I know drinks alcohol. Everyone. There are some Muslim girls and one non religious boy- that don't drink booze, but that is it. In my entire year that I am aware of, aside from myself.

I don't drink for moral reasons, I disapprove of such behaviour. I have had the occasional glass at family events, birthdays, etc, but nothing more than that, and I have no plan of doing anything more than that.

When I was a teenager, I was very anti-alcohol. I had zero interest in getting drunk so I never even tried it. Not one sip. My friends used to make fun of me and call me a prude.

I decided to try it on my 20th birthday just to see what the fuss was about. It tastes awful and I found that I don't get drunk easily at all so I'd keep drinking and I'd had to keep peeing and it wasn't worth it to me. That was a year ago and I had a few drinks since then but it's not something I particularly enjoy at all so I seldom drink.

Tried it a couple times. I feel like I'm drinking hand sanitizer every time I've tried it so there's not a lot of appeal there for me.

You're smart to handle drinking that way. Alcoholism can be hereditary. I know 4 people who don't drink at all because they've witnessed the damage it has done in their own families and know they're susceptible to the same fate.
