Do you drink alcohol...?

Yes I still drink. I don't drink near as often as I used to though. I used to get drunk pretty much every weekend, now I haven't been out drinking since thanksgiving and I still have half a 12 pack that I bought a couple weeks before that.

 

I do on occasion but never in excess even when I'm encouraged by crowds to do so lol

I will occasionally have a drink if someone is treating and that's 1 drink 90% of the time and 2 drinks the other 10% of the time. I probably buy myself an alcoholic drink once every 2 to 3 years.

Pressure to drink doesn't work on me.

 

Due to the fact that I am underage, I can't drink. I haven't yet to decide whether or not I will when I'm older.

 

Yes. I only get completely obliterated like twice a year though

Probably, yes.

 

Not really. I don't rate the whole experience of being drunk very highly compared to other stuff.

 

When I'm at a party or something like that... otherwise no. I hate the taste of beer, I'll only drink cocktails and things like that.

 

When I first turned 21 I started drinking so much. And also just liquor, no sweet stuff. I put on 30 pounds that basically melted off after I quit drinking. I think there are factors beyond just calories

 

I believe I personally don't need alcohol to have fun. I have my own natural energy as it is, and I can have fun without being in an altered state.

 

Yes, I drink. I don't drink too often--only at parties or with small groups of people. I never drink alone, and lately I've drank maybe once a month, if that. I don't like to get super drunk, so once I reach a decent state of drunkenness, I usually stop and that's it for the night, which is more than can be said for my friends

Also, I hate beer.

 

Alcohol hasn't caused weight gain for me, though I really only drink on weekends. I might have the odd glass of wine or bottle of cider here and there, but that's it.

As you get older, I suspect the ability to drink a lot without gaining weight becomes harder, though my sister at 28 gets pretty drunk nearly every weekend and is thin - the thinnest person in our family (and probably the heaviest drinker).

There is a myriad of factors contributing to to weight gain, and alcohol consumption is but one. Consuming more calories than you burn is the biggest cause.

 

I don't like being out of control

 

Yeah but only on special occasions, like the holidays. I generally avoid it due to its bitter taste :/

 

I never drink alcohol. Have made a few exceptions in my life, but I didn't drink much those times, I have never felt drunk and it's not anything I miss. Don't like the taste and I don't feel like I need it.

 

Can't drink like I could five years ago but I can still put a good bit down when the time is right. I drink only on weekends now mainly, almost never more than 3-4 mixed drinks a night.

 

Not so much anymore, no. Maybe once a month this past school semester because free alcohol, but then I tended to overdo it and the massive hangover reminds me as to why I don't drink more regularly…

 

No, I don't. I'm underage though, but it's not like people my age don't drink.

 

No... Not because of the weight thing, most of it just tastes disgusting...
