So could someone explain to me the whole 2D:4D thing? I've done a little research but I got curious and measured my fingers.

    Left hand:
    Ratio of .94

    Right Hand:
    Ratio of .-98

I'm mostly right handed myself, with a few quirks. Trying to become ambidextrous.
I love this kind of stuff hahah.

Oooooo your right hand - the stronger indicator - is so girly! Mine is around 0.956 - pretty manly :grin:

Basically, it's an indicator of how much prenatal testosterone you were exposed to. PreT is thought to affect the brain gender.

    Heehee, thanks!

I... sometimes freak out over my hands, they feel larger in the palms... But my fingers were always called lady fingers by my male coworkers.

Mine's .903. That's not even within two standard deviations of females. I feel proud.

    Sneaking this in there...

I asked my psychiatrist if bipolar correlated to gender identity... specifically bigenderism.

Why I asked is I'm treated for hypomanic bipolar.

Wait, If my left hand is much more weird than my right, does my left hand have somewhat more of a impact because it's fairly high?

That's like me…. IDK though, I think both are important, but the right is a little more indicative.

PeculiarChild, you lucky man!! My left hand COULD be as low as 0.93, which is the male average, but holy shit, man, I'm so jealous of you now :tears:

Hey, this is relating to the original question; 2D:4D ratios mentioning autism&sexual orientation/gender identity(ish)

What your finger length tells about you

My mom actually thinks I have some sort of hormone imbalance. I mean, she wants to put me on estrogen to make sure I'm "healthy". UGH!:help:

Oh man, my mom thinks that too, but she doesn't want to put me on hormones. She makes me drink teas instead…. I think they're made of Essence of Vomit :help:

That's not to bad, tea's nice. This is getting a bit off topic, I admit.

I know, I know, I've been regretting that since I wrote it :tears: I just can't help myself when it comes to math puns….

For example, I derive all my joys from coffee! Sweet liquid caffeine is integral to my wellbeing :icon_bigg

    I deleted it…. I felt guilty :tears:

We are talking about the tea kinda tea like milk no sugar kinda tea? Or are we talking about green tea where it is fundamentally wrong to add anything other than water?
Okay, I admit, I prefer coffee at the moment.

No, we're talking "tea made out of vinegar, vegetables, and other things that SURE AS HELL DO NOT GO INTO TEA OHMYGOD"

I'm S. Asian. My favorite tea is chai. This sure as hell ain't chai.
