Every country's going to be a little different, but for the most part it was fairly easy.

I applied for my legal details to be changed recently. Soon I will be legally Kate, the female.
I got a job and am heading to training as myself.
I joined an LGBT bike club where I get to keep enjoying my favorite hobby free of the idea that motorcycles are a manly activity.

I recently bought some more gender-neutral clothing (button-down tartan shirts are my current obsession).

Also received my pronoun pins in the mail recently and put them on a brand new lanyard. Now I'm nervous and excited about wearing them to anime cons.

My pronouns on the pins are she/they.

The reason why I'm nervous about wearing them publicly is because of people calling me a snowflake or something stupid like that. Thankfully, anime conventions tend to be LGBT+ friendly, but there's always going to be people who aren't.

If you're interested, a lot of independent artists on Etsy make really cute pronoun pins. There's fancy ones and there are the cute button pins as well.

I managed to avoid having to wear a dress and makeup today, and got to wear pants and a dress shirt instead.

I finally found my name(Quillan or Q), and came out to my best friend! I've been in limbo for so long whether I dared come out and begin transitioning or not, and now I've realised I can't live the rest of my life without doing it, so I'm doing it now! It's so scary but I'm so ecstatic!

A habitual client of the bar where I work said to my boss: "Oh! There isn't the usual (female ending) barista here, it's him now"
So, today I passed  despite a pair of trousers that stick too tight to my hips.
I was smiling and blushing behind the mask. xD

Also, two weeks ago I came out to another colleague. In a very weird way. As "not a woman". There was no time to explain.

So, uhm... I'm almost presenting as my gender at work. I didn't come out – except for that colleague – but I have short masculine hair and the button down of the uniform flattens – and flatters – my chest. And I was not discriminated, fired, criticised. Which is not to take for granted.

Oh, and a colleague said that yes, I look like Milo Thatch from Atlantis (the cartoon).

Again: today, another usual client came back after a long time and looked over the counter: "Hey, where are the girls?"

And a client: "Two biscuits, please, I already paid them to the girl [my colleague at the cash desk]." (she didn't say "the other girl") "Ok, thank you, bye guys!" (except me, at the time the baristas were all women)

As much as I hate this one patrol beat, it's validating to know that only guys get sent there because it's in a rougher part of the city.

My throat’s been getting a lot more hoarse and sore since starting T. I’ve just noticed how it’s starting to get deeper.

Been away for a while, but made quite a bit of progress offline.

-Been buying more male/unisex clothing lately
-Found a new name, debating on getting a legal name change after marriage someday
-Told several close online friends about the new name change, so I can try it out before telling my irl peeps
