My anxiety went sky high, when I read in the Estonian lgbt+ discord, that it's smart to do the application in order to get infront of the committee to get hormones now, rather than later, because the waiting times are one year long to even get to the committee. I will problably do this in a library computer and sign the application for it digitally there, since I don't want to do it on my family PC.

I'm thinking of keeping this thread for all the updates and vents on how things are going. I will update, if I get the diagnosis tomorrow and how it all goes.

Hi and sorry to hear you’re going through a hard patch! But you do seem to be moving in the right direction, just hold fast and take it step by step, you’ll make it☺️

I can’t say much about discrimination, it depends a lot on your area, but might not be so bad… But, IMHO, finding an LGBTQ+ friendly employer is one of the most important steps you should take, before transitioning. Where I live trans people have it hard when it comes to employment, if the name in the documents doesn’t match what they see. (In local language, names have different endings depending on gender, so even a neutral name won’t help).

Don’t worry about vitamin D, that’s easily fixed with supplement most of the time, it’s a usual trouble for those who live in northern parts of the world.

And don’t worry about shopping! Really. I’m regularly shopping for female clothes and no one bats an eye as long as you’re acting natural ‍♀️

Thank you. It's all really just my anxiety. I'm working on it in therapy. Yeah I have also thought about what to do about work, but I'm trying to become my own boss anyway, so I'm not too worried about that. It will just take time and I need to save up for it. It's hard enough to find work here now.
