Woohoo! - got tickets to the Liverpool / Roma match at Fenway Park in July - I know it's just an exhibition but that's the only way I am likely to see an EPL team in person.

    FA Cup Final tomorrow!

I think Hull might actually nick it and cause Arsène to have a full blown mental breakdown but no matter what happens I doubt it will be as good as this FA Cup Final (I am slightly biased, though  ): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Paks-qbF-x8

I don't follow football much at all (rugby's a better sport in every single way yeah?) but my friends do and because of them I guess my team are Derby, who are facing a playoff to the Premier League next week. I'm kinda nervous about them breaking their own record for the lowest Premier League points in a season if they get themselves promoted.

What's it like supporting two teams that are the most successful teams in their countries?! In fact, what's it like supporting a team that wins any trophy at all?

I actually want Derby to win the play off final. Mainly because its another east Midlands side and I dont want QPR to go up. That 11 point record was funny though haha.

Just think how unhappy Forest will be haha.

I think most people want Derby to go up. No-one likes QPR. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

As a Barcelona fan, let me be the first to congratulate Atletico Madrid!
They've been the better team throughout the whole season, played some fantastic football and they deserve the league title.
I'm pleased for them! Such a great season! I'd like them to win the CL too.

Just a wee fact for anyone who might remotely like QPR... Their wage bill is bigger than that of Borrussia Dortmund!

Fair to say most would have loved to see Hull & Atletico win their respective trophies today apart from Barca & Arsenal fans.

It's been a bit of fun having a laugh at Wenger's expense, but as a Utd fan I like him more than the likes of Mourinho so perhaps it was right he won something this time around.

Delighted for Atletico. When Costa and Turan had to come off and they were 1 down I was convinced it was doomed. Did well to come out and pull it back. Nice to see a bit of respect from the Barca fans too.

Hoping the financial fair play rules will start to level the field a bit in football. I lost a lot of enthusiasm for the game when mega rich billionaires started to buy titles.

Never mind all this talk of winning FA Cups and leagues the main football news today is that the chairman of Coventry City responded to a fan's forum rant by direct messaging him his phone number and telling him to call him!

You fans of big teams don't get proper entertainment

By the way, awesome to finally see a non Barça/Real Madrid winner in Spain. So little money spent as well, a victory for football

Thats ridiculous with QPR, they have been quite poor lately too.

All the financial fair play rules have done is fine teams and give them player caps for next season. Man city were fined around £50 million (nothing to them) and have been forced to reduce their squad numbers to a max of 21 for the champions league (which it was this season). Money in football will never change. I think a salary cap would be a good option like they use in Rugby union. Rugby clubs in England cannot spend more than £3 million on wages.
