Yeah and Canada ALMOST had women's curling, but the final puck was an accidental screw up so the last shot kind of blew it :frowning2: But yay Canada is in first place for gold medals!

We lost to Canada yesterday in curling, that sucked. But they played the best during The Olympics, they didn't lose a single match, so I guess they deserved to win. We also lost in the cross country skiing. Marit Bjørgen only managed to get a silver.

But Norway is golden once more (and for the last time) today. It was nice to take one more gold on the last day of The Olympics. Petter Northug won the 50KM cross country skiing.

That means Norway ends The Olympics at 9 gold medals, 8 silver medals and 6 bronze medals, 23 medals in total. Not bad for a country with a population of less than 5 mill people! Though I do wish we would get a double digit with gold medals, but oh well.. Can't always get what you want. We should be pleased with 9 gold medals.

Canada is SICK though! 13 gold medals. That is INSANE! You are doing really well, and I am definitely rooting for you in the hockey match today against USA.

Aw thanks Sokk. And I agree, considering your country's small population, that's an impressive medal count.

Canada only has between 30-35 million.. ok that does seem like a lot, but compared to the USA (300+ million) that's not a lot and we're still in the running for them.

The last time Canada had an overtime game for a hockey gold medal was in 1994. It ended in Canada winning the silver. Lets see if they can win it this time.

Apparently it is quiet on the streets of Vancouver.....
