since I am from eastern europe perhaps I will sound more like dracula but still the spelling will be easier:

Worchesturshir? Or...WorchestirshAIAR? not sure about that last part lol but still doesn't strike me as super complicated.

Try pronouncing this from my language instead (good luck):

"Peter pet pruta plete prez pet pruta preplita, pleti petre pleti" -

This is not a random string of words, said sentence makes perfect sense in my mother tongue, it's used usually in kindergardens/school to test kids spelling .

On a side note - I thought Tottenham = "totenham" and not "totnum"...

Literal translation: "Peter is sewing five shirts, with five shirts he is sewing, sew Peter, sew".

^ apparently peter is a good tailor .

Btw - if it's not hard enough I can write it in Cyrillic alphabet since this is how it should be written lol...

If Worcester is pronounced the same as Worcester mass then I'd get that part right, probably would mess up on the shire part

Woost/woust (not quite sure how to write that)-er-shear. There's a Worcester in Massachusetts; New Hampshire, where I live has "shire"; and Worcestershire sauce is relatively popular in the household, so I'll be re-evaluating my entire life if that's wrong.
As for Salisbury, I've only heard it as it's spelled (with maybe sort of a "berry" or as in the verb "bury," and the second is the "z-ish" form of "s", as I've heard it).

EDIT: Nevermind, I just had never thought about the spelling of Salisbury, Massachutts. If I read "Salisbury, Mass," I would say it right, but if I read "Salisbury steak" I would pronounce it wrong.

I haven't heard ONE person ever pronounce it in its full form, as Wor-ces-ter-shire

I always hear either Wos-ter or Woy-ster sauce

I come from Worcester! I don't live there any more though... I miss it...
Anyway, ermm... I pronounce it 'Wooster' and 'Woostersher'. I guess that I pronounce it correctly seeming that I lived there for over half of my life.

I've always pronounced it as salsbrie.

A lot of people also pronounce Shrewsbury as Shrowsbrie which I find odd.

    That's how I pronounce it, but I admit it - I'm odd!

One of the first times I worked in London was in Dulwich. I pronounced it Dull-Wich and got corrected by people as it was to be pronounced Dullich.
Ok, so going by that, Ipswich becomes Ipsich does it? Nope it is pronounced ipp swich.
    I give up.

Like Greenwich. A lot of people in the U.S. just pronounce it "Green Witch" (even though there's Greenwich Village in New York, and it can be very jarring.
