Why did you choose your username?

Went through an Edgar Allan Poe phase when I first joined (3 years ago). Now I'm struggling to change it to something less cheesy

Ghiottone is part of the Italian name of my favourite animal The Wolverine.
The full Italian name is il Ghiottone o Volverina.

 

Because I'm bisexual, really like shoegaze music and uncharacteristically lacked creativity the day I chose it.

 

Because I like EDM(Electronic Dance Music).

I would've used DubstepJunkie, because I also like that, but I felt that it didn't have much of a ring to it as EDMJumkie, so here I am.

 

Quem means who in Portuguese. I used it, because I didn't really know who I was (in the sense of labels).

The pronunciation is actually something like kay (/kẽ/ - /kẽj̃/ - /kɐ̃j̃/ depending on speaker). But in English, it's just kwem (or kem).

 

I needed a new username, and just came up with a random sound Might change it tho

 

My username is inspired by a song called "Little Black Submarines" by The Black Keys

My mother told me, once, that in Chinese culture, our lives were represented by one day. When we are born, our sun rises. When we reach the middle of our lives, it's noon. And when we die, the sun sets.

I also believe in reincarnation, so the fact that the sun rises and sets over and over again relates to that as well.

Also, it generally sounds cool.

 

I read a lot... and one of my favourite childhood book characters was a Scottish girl who played the bagpipes (I would still recommend the Witch Baby books by Debi Gliori!)

Also, I have a bit of a soft spot for alliteration...

I've had it since I was thirteen and a total wolf fanatic.
I started reading Warriors in 2004, and of course, at 13 you're actually able to sign yourself up for forums, so I started using "Wolfheart" as my own OC for warriors, and then when wolfheart was taken I added "moon" onto the end and it's stuck even now at 24.

 

I love Chicago. The city's north side has a big LGBT community, and it's pretty close to where the Chicago Cubs play. And I like baseball. Funny thing is, I don't like the Cubs, but I thought it was a cool username for this website, and a cool way to represent Chicago.

 

I just love reading and writing and I feel like I've started a new chapter in my life.

 

Leonardo is my chosen name, firstly. Also, I love TMNT.
And loads of cool people are called Leonardo: Leonardo di Caprio/da Vinci/Fibonacci.
Has many great nicknames too. Leo, Nardo, Leon etc.

Is a cool name.

I spent a year studying in Spain and one of my professors there couldn't pronounce my actual name so, after about a week, she gave up trying and began referring to me as "el extranjero" (the foreigner).

 

I normally use a longer version of this name for other websites but I thought it might be cool to have a short, fun username so yeah my username is just 'Soup'
