    mmm for me i noticed when i was young that i wasnt straight--buried the hell out of it until i was 16 and had a raging crush on one of my female friends. and ever since then its been. ... a journey of questioning and more questioning. youll be okay bud.

    I agree with recognising feelings early but not knowing the concept. This was followed by telling myself I'm just "not interested" in sex and relationships like all the other teenagers were. It only came to awareness when I liked someone who, for the first time, I knew was exclusively into women - maybe it made me feel like I had "permission" to put myself in that... position, because that would actually be possible with her? Something like that.

    Looking back on my life, it's pretty obvious that I'm bisexual, but I refused to acknowledge it for a long time and didn't really come out to myself until I was 29 when I met the person I'm dating long-distance now. I think I came out to myself (and them) because I knew I would make myself miserable if I didn't. Still, two years later, I am not out to anyone else in my life.

    It doesn't really matter who your out too, the important thing is you have found yourself and some happiness, excellent....
