    When I did my physics degree I once went an entire week with only six hours sleep. Suffice to say I wasn't very well at the end of it.

    I'm not really sure the exact amount of hours but the latest I've ever stayed up was 5am.

    I don't study all that much either, and I don't want to sacrifice my sleep for exam results. I'll study when I have time but I'm not going to stay awake until 5am.

    Defo over 24 hours, though I'm not sure how long exactly. It was entirely accidental and rather unpleasant and went from a Sunday onto the following Monday, my birthday. Couldn't sleep because illness.

    Oh, me too. One time I spent 12 hours writing. In the summer I counted it up and from June - August I wrote 400,000 words worth of stories.

    I lost count at 36 hours. I believe I was awake anywhere from 38-40 hours but idk. I started to temporarily have symptoms of DID, not remembering how I got somewhere, didn't remember changing clothes, etc. I also started to hallucinate, particularly "super spiders" that could move with super speed and could jump and had intelligence. I also lost a lot of control over my muscles, and my speech was slurred and movement was slowed. I've never been drunk but damn if it didn't seem like I was.

    3 days. I know others have gone longer. I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel like I was dying. I felt very worn down and nearly psychotic (not in a violent way). I got to where I could barely keep up with anything anyone was saying. Things began to look different and my senses changed a bit. It was weird...

    On your own, or:

    1. With the assistance of coffee/caffeine

    2. With the assistance of Adderall/similar stimulants

    3. With some other psychoactive agent

    I'd have to say about 48 hours, in any event, give or take.

    I've never stayed up all night. The latest I've gone to bed is about midnight, after a long school trip. I know, I'm a lightweight.

    38 hours, a few days ago, but I often do all-nighters of 30+hours just because some nights I don't feel like sleeping after I have woken up late in the afternoon, but I have classes in the morning, so...

    When I was 9 I once slept for 45 minutes one night.
    I recently pulled an all-nighter to get some coursework done (I woke up at 7 A.M. and went to sleep for 2 hour at 8A.M. the next day) I also have a serious phobia of sleeping alone (which I was).

    Probably around 40 hours is my longest. I sometimes pick up extra shifts at work, so I will occasionally be up for 24 hours.

    I nearly stayed up till five o' clock in the morning, and I think that's the latest I've ever stayed up. Not for any particularly good reason though, I've stayed up before to a) add to my story ideas, b) because boredom and I can't sleep/don't feel like sleeping, c)for the hell of it. Damn, I'm feeling like a right rebel right now. :lol:
