What type of hugger are you?

The only people who would actually hug me all have this impression that I hate hugs,because I'm really awkward during them. Truth is, if I had a good reason to, I would hug the stuffing out of them. Hugs are as intimate as kissing to me (well, I know it isn't really though), so I don't like them with family or similar people. It's like "why are we interlocked?". I don't know what kind of hugger I am, honestly. Never really done one

I'm a 3. Hug me and I give it back and if I hug you I'd like it back.

 

Most common ones are with my cats (bear hugs to them), with friends (arm over shoulder and squeeze), with my nephews (head lock and hair ruffle or upside down spidey hug for the youngest).

With a lover I prefer hugging them while they rest their head on my chest. There is something romantic in a tough guy confiding in you, finding peace in your arms. In here all guys should act tough... you know regular masculine society B.S.

 

Type 3. I love hugs and people who love to give them. Can't stand it when people don't like hugs. Let me squeeze your body, damnit.

 

4. I am awkward hugger. I don't like hugging people I don't want to have sex with. I just awkwardly let the hugging happen and pat their back. If I know them well and I know that they are just teasing me I sometimes lift them up. That's fun. I like lifting people up. If you invade my personal space you risk being lifted up.

 

I dont hug a lot of people but when I do they are normally "larger" then me, if they are I kinda do number 2, I am the hugee, but if I am "larger" then the person I am hugging I am the hugger.

 

I love giving my friends mutual bear hugs! Also I'm a fan of the side hug...just because I'm very short so face to face hugs usually hurt my neck, as nice as they are

 

I'm the type of hugger that freezes up and stands completely still with my arms to my sides when someone tries to hug me...





However, in the extremely rare instance (I can think of only two such instances in my lifetime) where I feel like hugging someone and I know the other person feels the same way, I'm #1 - except that the other person will also be doing "#1" also, so it balances each other out.

 

A big old bear hug, hale fellow well met and all that. Ladies always gently and getting ready for the two requisite air kisses.

 

2 and 3... sometimes 1. It depends on my mood actually. But mostly I am number 2. To be hugged sincerely by the one you like, infatuated with and love. That's the best way to experience heaven on earth.

 

Type 2 is my favorite but I love any and all hugs (*hug*) However, it does get embarassing sometimes... this kid in my class wanted to hug his friend who then said no. He turns to me and says "Look. Joe will hug me!" He then opens up his arms for a short embrace and I fully go for it; holding on tight with my head resting on his shoulder. I didn't know how long it lasted but a few people gave me an odd look afterwards... :icon_redf But it wasn't my fault! I love hugs and their warmness and squishiness and mushiness (*hug*)

 

I love hugging. I am usually the one to embrace the other since I'm so tall and most people I hug are girls since most guys are very "restrictive" when it comes to showing emotions. Guys always wanna shake hands, which I don't understand. I hate handshakes, that's like the most dull, cold way of greeting someone, and it spreads germs. A hug is so much better. Even a brofist feels better than a handshake.

 

Depends on who it is, what the conditions are, what mood they are in.............

But Im a #2 (ok, cut the giggles).

 

I only have a couple of people I am comfortable hugging. Friends and family kinda get a generic I know you like hugs so I'll give you one more intimate hugs intend to be the number two I like cuddling into my partner

 

I like both one and three. I love hugging and cuddling

Depends on the occasion.
a) Informal, then casual huger.
b) Intimate, then loving huger.

 

I don't like hugs. But I'm more inclined to type 3
