E (11%), N (62%), T (25%), P (56%). Slight preference for extraversion, distinct preference for intuition over feeling, and moderate preferences for thinking and perceiving. Pretty accurate, but it's interesting how is different from what I got like ten years ago (I was an introvert at the time apparently) and I thought it was very accurate then too.

Last time I took the test, I got INTJ. However, bear in mind that the scientific validity of the Meyers-Briggs personality test has been pretty much discredited. Even if you find that the test gave you a rest that aligns pretty well with your personality traits, please take what it says with a very large pinch of salt

This is very different than what I used to be before I came out and before I got a job that involved constant contact with several different people all of the time. Back then I was one of the introverted types. I don't remember which one because it was different each time I took the test. ESFJ suites me well now.

In every version of the test I take, I continue to be found as an INTP. I don't know if I fully trust this system but I am uncannily like the description of one.

the wise mans astrology based on more streamlined forer effect

I am FART (INFP) since I first took this for a psych class at 14 yrs. took it a few other times for various bullshit classes and sessions, always got infp. reliable. but i have changed so much in every way like so much since, it cant account for everything. just how i deal with office dynamic shits and giggles. so ppl making dating sites around these seems odd and limiting because there is always more to ppl then basing your identity off this

ok i will get off the buttbox no one put here, my bad,

INFJ. Surprisingly accurate, once I read the description. I have to ask though - why the infatuation, SimpleTim?

I'm an INTP, and it seems to be quite accurate.

(I apologize for the ensuing rambling, I find mbti fascinating, and I tend to ramble when a topic that strikes my interest arises. Maybe it's an INTP thing, LOL. )

Of course being the INTP that I am I wasn't going to just settle with my first test result from my high school religion class (I think I tested INFJ). And so over the past few years I've researched the various types, the dichotomy, and the functions and finally settled on INTP.

As the online MBTI tests go, I prefer to find the ones that test for the cognitive functions rather than the dichotomy. They seem to be less based in stereotypes and more in perception. Technically the MBTI theory is a tool that is used to describe the different ways that people perceive the world. However, perception often can affect certain traits and characteristics that people exhibit, hence mbti personality. The dichotomy is quite useful, and often correctly correlates to someone's functions, but I found, especially as I was teetering between many types (INFJ, INFP, ISFP, ISFJ, INTP . . ), that the cognitive functions helped to discover by true type.

And of course anyone can tap into any of the 8 functions or both ends of the dichotomy scales, mbti is simply showing you what mode of perception comes naturally to you.

INFP. I've taken several (but, no official) tests and aside from the one time I got like, ISTJ, it's been the same since I was about 13.

So if nothing else I'm a pretty consistent person in that regard.
