    Thank you. I did send her an email about it. I'm scared of her reaction, but I had to try and tell her, because we have been close for so many years.

    So she was confused about the letter first, but she didn't really say anything. She only asked if I truly want to go through with the transition and said that she don't think it's free, if I want to go through with it and I do know I need to save up for it. She also said, that she can't imagine me looking different and this experience would be something new for her and takes getting used to. So I guess it went well. It's a weird feeling. I imagined worst, but it didn't go that way.

    Thank you. She said she actually had a coworker who was trans and that's why she gets it.
