I was in the store today and this guy was looking at me weird, he kept on following me around also.... Maybe I was just imagining things though....?

Wish I had the confidence to compliment guys in public. I mean a compliment is just a compliment, right?

This man I waited behind in line for 15 min had THE most beautiful hair. Goodbye Mr Curly lol.

I'm just so happy that I can shush my mind every time it tells me I'm being "too gay" for trying to rediscover myself more. Now I'm thinking how different would I be now if I can do it earlier in life. Dealing homophobia is hard, but dealing with internal homophobia is waaaay harder. Glad I'm overcoming it!

I’m sick of nocturnal giant spiders who appear at night to scare the crap out of me but are nowhere to be seen during the day. If they’re on the floor I toss a mat on them and stomp away. Today’s spider was on the edge of the sink, too big to knock down and go down the drain. I tried whacking it with a Pringles tube but it ran under a plastic container on the counter and I’m not going looking for it. Out of sight, out of mind. Hopefully.

I can't believe I'm actually following through with this  Longest vacation I've taken in 3 years (which isn't saying much lol).

Old classmates want a reunion, but the thing is it feels so weird. The person who I was, when I was studying together with them don't exist anymore, though my name and looks are the same, but my being itself has changed a lot. We studied together before Covid time too. It was when I got my caregiver certification.

Moral of the story: Don't listen to criticisms (and take advice with a grain of salt) if the person hasn't been in a similar situation. Cause what's the criticism even from if there's nothing solid to base it off of?

Thanks for the invalidation folks, #StayPetty.

Anyone from the eastern/central side of North America witness the solar eclipse?
Nothing really noteworthy on the western side.

I did, it was really cool! Was basically dusk out for a few minutes, and as the sun came back out you could see lines on the ground flashing across (almost like an old tv would do).

I live in the path of totality so I got the glasses and we went outside and sat in the driveway to watch. It was great!

My mother insisted on coming to the eye doctor with me and I didn’t care, I’m guessing she didn’t go the previous two years because of Covid. He told her more about my eyes than he ever told me. I’m going to make an appointment with an optician though I think I need new glasses and I want a pair of prescription sunglasses before summer. I might as well take care of the one good eye I apparently have left.

My gp called me in my health records as depressive. I haven't been depressive for a while, just take meds for helping me sleep. On other news tommorrow is committee and finally I'm a little bit closer to becoming my true self. I'm not even anxious anymore, right now I'm more exited. I also got an appointment to geneticist. I want to check if I have Ehlers-Danlos syndrome as my neurologist suspected.

I'm also for the first time meeting up with another lgbt+ person and we will hang out a bit. I don't know many lgbt+ people in real world, but they are a part of Estonian lgbt+ community, who I became friends with in online.

I'm mostly thinking of my upcoming disability evaluation. Why don't they give me a status for 5 years instead of calling me every year?

Once the bandages come off and I’m all healed up, shirts will become optional. I waited way too long for this.

I love it how all of my plans get turned upside down by my family. It's so awesome. :frowning2:
