I know. It’s just the actual act of getting out.

 

I became very interested in anything related to LGBT+ rights and culture. I'm attending almost every lgbt+ rights events I have time for, and reading any books I can find. It's a feeling I've never had since a long time. Is this exoerience going to help me in any way?

 

I've reached that point point where I can honestly say that I'm ashamed of being a Mexican; it's true what people say, the majority of us are scumbags

 

I went to our city's Pridefest for the first time with my boyfriend yesterday, and it was a lot more fun than I thought it would be!

It also got out of control way faster than I thought it would, but that made it more fun too haha. There was a drunk drag queen who was like 6'5 in full costume singing and twerking on everyone, including police, which was hilarious.

I am now a proud alumnus of the University of Michigan-Flint.

 

I'm in week two at my new job at a company that really values diversity, to the point that there is a specific section of the employee handbook that says that trans people are to use the restroom of their choosing. But my first week in and I still couldn't get the words out to say that I have a bf. I set up my desk this morning with some pictures of us, so hopefully someone will ask. Working for 2.5 years at a place where you feel you have to stay in the closet really fucks with your head and makes you good at dancing around the subject.

 

15 years ago today, April 29, 2004, the last Oldsmobile rolled off the line at the GM plant in Lansing. It was a sad day for Michigan and even worse for the city of Lansing.

My phone's power button got jammed, causing my phone to continually turn on and off. $120 to fix, so hello new phone I guess....

 

Few weeks into using the lesbian chat app: it was really a series of rejection and sometimes underhanded insult. Um, aren't yall here to find love? If so be nice! Don't ask stupid questions like "are you pretty?" It's a very subjective question, so don't expect real answers. you dumbasses.

I worked with someone with anger issues at a part time job. It was unbearable. After the first day, I quit.

Despite this, the manager refused to pay me. He's not paying because I kept on "making mistakes". Um, it was my first day at retail?

I can't sue him because we didn't write a contract. I imagined we'd write the contract first thing in the morning, but instead his employee showed up. With no documents. I hope they go out of business soon, with a heap of debt, and get conned.

What a disappointment. I'm losing faith in humanity right now.
