Moving from marital home, leaving my kids behind, she's moving a hetrosexual guy in .
Only moving a few miles but not lived alone for 20 yrs.

 

I wish I could move out of this town, I hate it so much.

I'm stuck in my apartment doing work that I don't enjoy most of the time, all of it is unpaid to boot, but I have to do it to graduate. I don't hangout with anyone cause I don't know many people here, and even when I go to my hometown, my friends are all busy with university or work.

Then, the course I thought was going to be a fun time (German class) ends being the worse of them, and just being a chore overall. The teacher's expectations are skyhigh and she's unclear about them to begin with. She makes me think I'm stupid or something. Then, there's the teamwork. I hate teamwork. Getting organized with people is a fucking chore. I have enough to do without having to work with other people's schedule on top of that.

And then, I feel alone romantically as well. How annoying... I just want to graduate already and get the hell out of here.

 

I feel in this weird state where I feel like I'm putting in all the effort in my friendships. I keep telling myself that if people want you in their lives, you won't need to chase them, so I should take a break. But then I get bored and needy lol. I really need to leave the house more and at least try more somehow.

 

I'm feeling like I want to climb to the top of the tallest mountain in the world and scream as loud as I possibly can, I might feel better then....

 

Ahhh the good old days. I miss when Halloween was fun.

Damn my perspective on life back then was a lot darker than I had previously thought in retrospect.

Maybe I could make a thread showing how my point of view whilst being on EC has changed over the years, it could be an interesting topic. I'm curious to know how others have changed during their time here.

But for now, I best go to sleep.

 

I feel the same way about posts I made when I joined 5 1/2 years ago. A while back a thread was resurrected from that time and I thought “Wow, I sure wasn’t as mature as I thought I was back then!”

 

I am so sick of nepotism..

 

Fighting for and defending people's civil liberties and human rights is a surprisingly difficult and thankless task. It's almost a miracle that we're not all still banging rocks together and grunting.

Also realising how much of the discrimination LGBT+ people face actually comes from within the LGBT+ "community"... I'd heard it was bad but didn't anticipate seeing it here.

 

How do you starve an introvert?

I'm feeling more positive, off work tomorrow having counselling and gonna run both sat and sun as no runs for well over a week....
