I absolutely hate the new Snapchat update. Why did they think that was a good idea?

 

I feel sick.

 

Took a mental health day today and it was amazing! Slept late, watched TV, took my dog for a hike, went to wash my dog after getting insanely muddy on said hike, now drinking wine and eating Chinese takeout while watching the Opening Ceremonies.

 

Yet another resignation out of the White House

A partying backpacking summer followed by a massively boozy first-year welcome week is really going to make going back to uni the worst possible thing for my liver and wallet.

At least I'm exercising and eating cheap and clean to compensate.

 

Do you ever feel ignored? I feel very ignored by people in my life lately. It’s like when I’m super busy during the week, everyone wants to talk to me all at once. Then when the weekends come around and I have time, everyone disappears. Maybe because I’m off work on weekends, while most of my friends are pretty much working every day, so they’re busy...difference in work/life schedules and all that maybe? I kind of feel like I’ve been getting some resentment from my friends lately, ever since I started my career, and they sort of stayed the same I guess...it’s like they see me as different just because of my job or something...I dunno. People are fake af sometimes.

Oh well...I guess that’s what video games are for lol. I’ll just go kill some Lynels & Guardians in BOTW to take out my frustration haha. I’m just going to enjoy my 3-day weekend and ignore everyone to save myself the headache lol.

Same here...I don’t have a friend group...None of my friends know each other. And I get that everyone’s got their own lives, but I mean none of my friends are married or have children. It’s not like they’re anymore busy than I am...I work a really challenging job, but I still have time for people. I find it shady when others only want to talk or be friendly when it conveniences them, but the rest of the time I’m chopped liver to them. It’s bs. I feel like the outcast among my friends as well...especially since they’re all straight. I’m the “lesbian friend” to them...it feels lonely sometimes.

 

Exactly! For me though, it’s probably a result of me being the introvert of the millennia. Lol

 

Yeah, I get that. I have a super tight friend group, but I feel like the pet gay, a sort of novelty. Besides that, all of my straight dude friends, with an exception of one, have been weirded out by me being gay. I mean, what is the problem! I can’t help it, and it’s not like I’m trying to flirt with them, I’m 14 for God’s sake.

It also doesn’t help that I’m so incredibly busy so they don’t take the initiative to do stuff with me, I always have to initiate it. Me complaining about this is petty and all, but it’d be nice to feel loved and accepted for who I am.

 

Oh god I had these really fucking annoying ghetto ass hoodrats come in. They ruined everyone's day and I'm also not feeling good. I feel like I could vomit.

 

I just played at king soopers for three hours and made $180
