I miss having a ps2 console. Unfortunately ours broke years ago but it was certainly well loved, and some of the games on there were just brilliant. Yes, good memories may be biasing me here but still. I miss playing Singstar and Penny racers and Sims 2 and Eyetoy. There were just so many good games!

I hope to get one fairly cheaply one day and just so I could replay some of those games. I mean Penny racers had cars that could turn into submarines! And the soundtrack was just so memorable and enjoyable to listen to, and the levels had quite a bit of detail to them. I loved driving around just for the sake of it, especially looking around the caves and the underwater levels were just awesome. I'm sorry but I just think that game was way too underrated (and still is!). I'll admit that the opening credits weren't great but I think I read somewhere (rumoured) about the singer not having English as their first language so some of it was just sort of sounds and some random words (that seem slightly slurred and sometimes seemingly indistinguishable) and phrases thrown in there that were vaguely relevant. You can tell by some of the pronunciation that they weren't sure on certain words. Still, I'm not having a go at them or anything. If English wasn't their first language (which seems likely, either that or it was mostly just an improvised song, or perhaps it was a bit of both?) then they did pretty well. Also no offense to anyone who doesn't have English as their first language, and I'm not saying that you can't speak good English if it's not your first because you can, but in the case of the singer I think they struggled a bit that's all.

Other than that, the music was pretty good. I'd recommend listening to the sound track sometime (Penny racers PS2 soundtrack) but I'd probably give the opening a miss. I'm almost tempted to ask for a PS2 console for my birthday, even my parents agree that it had some good games. Damn, now I just feel spoilt sat her on my laptop going on about games consoles. I'm a terrible person. :eusa_doh:

Huh..I just realised that a games console and to console someone are spelt the same. So if you made someone happy with a games console would that mean you consoled them with a console? English everyone.

You know looking at some let's plays, the graphics weren't as great as I remember them to be (mainly because at the time they were probably seemed amazing to me). Still, it was a good game regardless.

Well when I say submarines I mean that they had floats on each side of the car and a little propeller at the back. Still they could drive through water and I think they may have been able to go under water on some of the levels.

*exhales* Ok, I'm done fangirling about that game now.

Hmm, how to respond to an acquaintance who asks, "Then who do you have time for?" in response to me telling him that I had no time for fair weather friends... I would have said, "Those who matter" but it leaves too much room for ambiguity, I think.

Currently at an English pub restaurant (in Texas) and having corned beef and cabbage and some green beans. It's pretty good.

Life's finally getting back together. I'm so used to things being so abrupt, it's kind of weird to have any kind of stability. Things aren't entirely there yet, nor do I think it's exactly a promise it'll stay that way. But there's finally a way to plan stuff out and get it done. I just hope it stays that way from now through August.

I know this feeling, having some stability after a long period of craziness is a really weird feeling. I'm in the same boat myself with that right now. Hopefully things will stay calm and you will be able to plan things easily

I can't figure myself out right now. My mind is so focused on hiding from the truth lately that I'm getting lost in a sea of lies.

My life experience is so unique based on culture/nationality/religion/tradition....on the bright side...my life story is going to be one to hear when I'm done with all of this.

Right now I can get lost in the music and look forward to tomorrow.

Guys/Gals/+ who only talk about sex and and only talk about /men/women/+ in sexual ways make me very uncomfortable.
