    Also, I keep seeing this post going around Facebook about cars and comparing them to relationships. The best car according to this meme, shows a man surrounded by a couple of women, the second best is a man making out with a woman, the worst car out of the three shows a picture of two men kissing. Now I get it, it's implying that if you like the third car that makes you gay. But really? People find humour in this? Seems like an unoriginal and bland joke if you ask me, not surprised to see who reposted it. He's the same guy who complains about the fact that there isn't a "straight pride" parade and that there's isn't a "white pride" parade either. Like seriously dude? :eusa_doh: I need to unfriend that guy, whenever I see his posts he makes me give up on humanity a little more each time. :dry:

    No matter which I choose I will be staying in the dorms till a job can be found, but you are correct in saying that L.A does seem to be the best option.
    Though cost of college and living there is still frighting highly to me considering how cheap it is. Guess I have the fact that I'm getting the first year to year and half out of the way here, and a grant will cover that.

    I'm serious about screen writing, serious about writing in general. But I have a lot of fear mostly brought about by being told writing and other arts where a sure fire way to homelessness.
    But I suppose if we always took the less scary path we'd never learn and grow.


    On a side note, my brother was doing something with the stove and broke it.

    If you want advice regarding, well, everything about screenwriting, from the current landscape of the field down the very minutiae of the writing itself, I wholeheartedly recommend you check out Scriptnotes. It's a podcast about screenwriting hosted by John August (Charlie's Angels, Big Fish, Frankenweenie) and Craig Mazin (The Hangover movies) that comes out every week, and it is filled to the brim with wisdom for current and aspiring screenwriters. I'm sure they will be able to alleviate some of the concerns you are having.

    Yesterday I was exactly one month free of self harm... Wow, time flies, doesn't it?

    If it seems I haven't been on often, I'm on spring break and am kind of taking a mental health break. I haven't forgotten about you guys and I'll likely be on more in the coming weeks.

    It's not even 8:30 over here and I'm so ready to go to bed. Today has been beyond exhausting, and I can't even unwind with anime because the dub is out of sync by a few seconds so it's annoying to sit through. The series is supposedly up on Netflix, but I don't recognize any of the episode titles, so it has me thinking it's only from one of the recent seasons--and I'm only at about S3 in the series and not 27 or 30 or whatever they're at now over in Japan. So I don't want to see too many spoilers, despite finding out a couple of storylines that got added.

    I'm soooooo fucking drained, and I'm in that state where I'm not hungry and I'm ready to hibernate for 50 years...but on another side, I want another cookie dough iced coffee and cry into a bag of Doritios while power watching episodes of Angry Beavers.
