Went to the post office and as I was walking in a girl is coming out and she holds the door "way too open" for me and stays there holding the door till I fully walked it. Is this how girls feel when guys hold the door open? I almost felt objectified .

It's only six, and I'm already in crash mode. I need some coffee, dammit. If anyone wants to go get me some Dunkin Donuts, make it a double shot in my order.

    The matriarchy strikes back.

Actually, I've had that and similar things happen to me. It's always awkward when someone uses holding the door as a chance to check you out because you're simultaneously flattered and a little offended that it's not just politeness. Ah well, better than cat-calling I guess.

My right hand's favorite place is within the range of a ceiling fan's rapidly spinning steel blades. Apparently. This is the third fucking time.

-I totally knew Eric was gay the first moment I saw him.
-I'm so happy he liked the gift, I might send him a valentine gram.
-I should try to talk to Jackson more.
-Sorry I haven't been active, been busy.

Yep. There's even places you might get additional 'services' this way.

Finally home, and happy for the weekend.

Have been looking at ways to go to Madagascar, in the capacity of doing some or other charitable work, such as teaching English...my mate and I have this very strong desire to see the world, especially some of the more remote places.

I wonder what I would look like with long hair. My hair would probably just keep going up and up.

My ankles are naturally so thin. I feel bloated. Binge eating to the maximum! Stress levels are high.

I'm the first one ready for the dowery thing today. All the Northern California gypsies are coming over tonight. We got a room and ordered like 55 fish dinners. Then we give the father of the bride $12,500

....I'm worth at least 50k...just saying.

I swear to fuck, this has to be the longest book I've ever read. Only 200-something pages but it sure feels that way. It basically feels like this:

My former supervisor who I was really close with decided to randomly unfriend me on FB. :frowning2: I sure hope this doesn't fuck up my new job as they are checking references now, and I used her as a reference. We were cool, like wth?

Thinking about how today is the one year anniversary of the first time I came out, and coincidentally, today is also the day two of my friends started T (they went together early this morning). So today is a good day.

Oh, and I got the car back today after 9 days. When I started it up, it made a really loud whining sound. Mechanic fiddled with it for awhile, then said, "Can't finish the job today, bring it back Monday. It should be fine if you drive it this weekend. Bring it back Monday. It wasn't making that whining inside the shop."

So I busted my knuckles open hitting things I shouldn't be. Again. Hooray for insane rage issues. [IMG]

    Also, I want beer.

    And we don't have any.

    And that's terrible.

That LGBT youth meeting was amazing. I met a ton of super friendly people and two kids my age who I actually got the phone numbers of. I'm so happy.

Being in a space is so surreal where:
•Nobody knows my dead name! That way they literally can't screw it up.
•The older people are talking about social justice
•Trans people! Real life trans people!

Oh, I know what that's like. A few weeks ago I went to hang out with a cousin of mine who's also a transguy and hearing him and his parents, who don't even know my hated birth name (he's a distant cousin), calling me by my chosen name was... well, you put it aptly. It was surreal.

(Now I'm kind of curious if they knew that "Matt" was short for "Matthias" and not "Matthew", since I don't think he gave his parents my full first name, but honestly I didn't give a damn. It was nice to not be called by my hated birth name for one day and "Matt" is close enough.)[IMG]
