Regardless of one's view on marijuana legalization, I have to say the whole medical marijuana thing is such a joke. I bet <5% of the people who get medical marijuana use it for legitimate reasons.

Had a very weird conversation with a stranger yesterday. Was asked if I was part Romanian. I said, "uhmm can't you tell I'm 100% Hispanic*?"

*So hard to define, but I guess the best definition is Amerindian and a dab of Spanish/European (usually Western Europe).

Not true. You have to have a history of one of the qualifying diseases/disorders and submit your medical records to the state as well as have a doctor's recommendation. in fact, there aren't very many disorders that qualify; I wanted to get a card for depression/anxiety, but that's not covered here in Michigan.

 

I can't wait for Jurassic World to come out next week...I really need something to distract me from the misery roller coaster that is a first crush.

For some reason I felt that very profoundly just now. It's just a shame we are miles apart, meaning I have to love her from a distance instead.

 

Never thought I would have the nerves to do this, but while going out last night I started talking to a very very cute guy and openly showed interest in him. He was about to leave/wasn't very interested but still, I'm kind of proud of myself for approaching a random stranger.

And the best thing: actually it was easier than I thought. Gonna do this more often.
