    My first love, and girl I will always love, (she's the reason I joined EC actually) just confessed to me that she's a demiromantic demisexual.

    I consider myself this as well except I have no gender preference. (I just connect with women better emotionally and as a result physically as well) Hmmmm I'm glad we're still best friends after all this time even after I moved states but I can't lie. I will always want her in a romantic way.

    Nevertheless we are both taken and states away and I'm just happy to talk to her again. She's a very kind person.

    The writing group get together tonight, turned out a lot better than I thought it would. It got me inspired to try writing on a regular basis again. Looking forward to next week already!

    I've got a date for later tonight, and it was totally unexpected.

    Went through the convenient store's drive-thru window, and saw a happy-looking young lady. As she was ringing me up, this happened:

    Me: Excuse me, but is that an ant on your arm?
    Her: Huh, what?
    Me: No, guess not. I'm sorry. But you look made of sugar.
    Her: *starting to laugh* That's so dumb!
    Me: Well, of course. I save my better material for the date.
    Her: *settling down her laughter* Are you--?
    Me: Would you--?
    Her: Yeah... yeah, I would. Um... your total is $ ___.
    Me: *Pays*
    Her: Here's your change...
    Me: Keep it; you can give it back to me tonight.

    Once again, you make folks laugh, they're susceptible to almost anything. Still, this was a nice boost to my developing weekend.

    Bad jokes but smooth composition for the win.

    I really want to return to writing, but I feel so washed up. It seems like nothing works well or flows right anymore, and I don't know where to begin. I could return to that musical I started about two years ago, but it looks like it will be another scrapped project.

    Gave a loaf of bread to a presumably "homeless" guy asking for food today.

    Guy was utterly shocked - I assume because he didn't expect anything from the car blasting Black Metal. :lol:
