    My therapist doesn't seem to quite grasp the difference between sexuality and gender. She has asked me if I'm actually trans several times now.

    I spent quite a lot of time during our session today educating her on the difference between sexuality and gender, what Queer is (which is difficult to explain if someone doesn't know the difference between sexuality and gender), then feminism, as well as Queer Feminism. I rambled on about everything from different subcategories of feminism, to sexual objectification, to men in dresses, to how the heteronormativity and the patriarchy are best buds.
    She seemed hesitant to feminism at first, but when we were done she told me how I had made her head spin. Which, to me, is a good sign of getting through to someone. Gotta spin those heads.

    I was in a real funk this morning thinking about whether I will be able to sell any of my art, and like magic, I got my first nibble as a lady emailed me that she was interested in purchasing two of my works listed on my website! I really hope this goes through not for the profit but just to prove to others this can be a viable career!
