That was a bit of an awkward conversation with my aunt yesterday.

AUNT: "Well you just have to work through these issues...(she drones on and on)
IN BACKGROUND: "Oh, oh, oh God! Yes! Oh yes! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! AH! OH! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!"
ME: "Are you watching 'When Harry Met Sally?'"
    AUNT: (starts laughing)

Well Facebook kind of ruined Valentine's Day for me. Out of nowhere everyone on there hates people who are pro-choice, I disgust them, I'm a murderer... You know the drill. I can't believe I said those same things to people... I guess I deserve to suffer from the other side. Karma and all that.
I live in Kentucky, am I right in what I'm seeing in that it's really bad here for people who need proper medical care? It's so scary. What if I was raped? I have a fear of that happening, and then I'd have to go through all of that. How on earth would I get the money? I live with my conservative parents, I can't even drive. Who would take me? I wouldn't want anyone to know, they'd think of me as a mother (one of my worst fears) who killed her child. I would quite literally rather die than give birth. But everyone I know hates people like me, people who are scared. It's all so sad and terrifying. I don't know what I'd do. Why can't we help those who need abortions instead of hurting them as much as we can? Why? Why? :tears:

Only good thing about turning 18 I guess is that I at least MIGHT could do it without them knowing. But what about those who aren't? What a nightmare, or worse. (*hug*)
This is so important, why are sooooooo many people against this in 2014? It's not right.

In a moment of extreme rashness I just outed myself. The response? "That's not right."

A surprisingly good first day at work - well, it wasn't as bad as I envisaged. Some tedious tasks, but the store is usually quiet, so a lot of the time, I drank tea and talked to some of my new work colleagues. Not bad at all.

Oh, and it's only a 1 mile walk from my residence - no buses!

I'm going to have to find a way to balance work and studies though - even if it means working until stupid-o-clock.

That's gonna make reunions awkward. "Yeah, hey. I got 25, on good behavior. Stop staring at me like that. Seriously, make some clearance to the potato salad or I'll do it again."

Wonder if a transperson's IQ score changes after HRT- just based on all the ancedotes I've heard.

Sometimes it seems like shoveling the very end of the driveway makes up half the time it takes to get the whole thing cleared. x____x

I've never been so glad it rained before. I felt like a chicken in a poultry farm against my extended family and their Swedish friends.

I just ordered a new toaster. I saw a toaster review - 2/5... "IT JUST TOASTS TOAST". What the hell do you want it to do... play a tune while it toasts!? Get real! xD

I hate holidays, I really do. I see everyone just so happy, and I get so upset. I do not want to sound like an Ebenezer Scrooge, especially over a holiday as trivial as Valentine's day, but I do not care about them. All they remind me of is the fact that I am now counting the number of holidays that I celebrating without my Mom. She never got the chance to meet my first Valentine's or to see my fall in love and get married. So celebrating a holiday about love when one of the people I love the most is gone from me forever, is just cruel. I have to celebrate every holiday there is, for the rest of my life without my Mom and it f:***:cking sucks.

I am sorry for being a Debbie Downer, but I currently hate all holidays, because they remind me of the fact that everyone I love keep f:***:cking dying. Five people in the last year and a half. :tantrum::bang:
