Everyone around me is getting married or into relationships and there's me who apparently couldn't even keep the interest of the only two guys ever interested in me. Oh, well, time to eat and get fatter.

Just finished a rather important project for a client. A huge load off my shoulders. Now if I can sleep for a week it would be grand.

 

I may be a bit obsessed with Bradbury at the moment.

Why does everyone tell me about their sex escapades or their physical intimacies with their lovers? Are they just trying to rub it in my face? Find somebody else to tell, goddammit. I feel bad and virgin-y enough as it is. Had a boyfriend for six months, never got a chance to go on a single date or share a single kiss or be intimate once. I'm so fucking pathetic.

Here's how they deal with snowy roads where I live:

1) Wait for it to snow.

2) Dick around for a day or so.

3) When it gets pretty bad, someone finally says, "Hey, shouldn't we do something about the roads?"

4) Wait a while.

5) Finally salt the roads.

Taking the "classroom" part of my state's hunter education certification class through an official online vendor.

The only thing that makes it less boring is when this guy's videos pop up along the course (he reminds me a bit of a young Matthew Broderick/Aaron Rodgers). Would love to be in a blind with him for a few hours alone :icon_redf.

I feel rather sick all the sudden.... Almost... stomach flu-like (haven't had one in awhile)...

 

My father— the man who left my family for another, gave no thought to me for the last ten years, and stood by his brother as he literally beat one of my cousins into a heterosexual lifestyle and swore he would do the same to his own. The man who had to ask my mother to send him a recent picture, because he wasn't sure what I looked like anymore. The southern raised, military man who embodies the worst characteristics of those stereotypes; all with the son who is the antithesis of his disposition— just invited me to lunch.

Pardon me, but fuck you.

Make no mistake, I'm not bitter. I got along fine without his presence in my life. Though to think that I would be willing to subject myself to break bread with such a disgusting individual, then you have me confused with some poor, poor soul. I need nothing from him and he deserves nothing from me. Certainly not something as valuable as time.
