I've decided that I'm going to rush a fraternity (that is trans* friendly of course ). I cannot wait for rush events to start!

 

There's a lot of dark clouds around. I hope it rains. However, the air smells of smoke very strongly. There are fires in New South Wales and Victoria, and the smoke is all blowing in the direction of Canberra. :dry: It's expected to get worse. I hope people can evacuate in time.

One thing that seems peculiar to me is that co-ed fraternities refer to all members as brothers, regardless of gender. Apparently "brother" is gender-neutral in the eyes of such fraternities. I wonder why they don't use "sister" for female members Perhaps it's a traditional thing that they don't want to change.

 

Thanks I've noticed that as well. This is not a co-ed, but I have a lot of friends that are in co-ed's and it really confused me the first time that I heard it...
