    Well.. that was interesting. Kissed my boyfriend in front of everyone, shouted "I'm gay!" to everyone, and last but not least got woken up by my mom this morning sleeping next to my boyfriend, in my bed. Gotta love New Year's parties.

    Such a good start of the year. Strangely, I don't really give a fuck. Plus, I doubt anyone took it seriously anyway.

    The Walking Dead is SOOOOOO good.

    And I also really hate when people automatically equate being Christian with being anti-gay. I mean... I can't blame them, but it's really sad. Not the way it's supposed to be. :icon_sad:

    Probably the best New Year's I've ever had, I would relive every moment, except maybe drinking as much alcohol as I did. All in all, it was awesome :slight_smile:

    If my year is anything like my new year's celebration, it's gonna be one hell of a year :wink:

    I'm having a bad anxiety night...again. Exactly when does it start to get better? Everyone keeps saying "It'll get better." And "One day at a time." And "It'll get easier." Exactly when is that????? I'm losing faith that it's ever really going to get better...

    i would say it took me 3-4 months from the time i came out until i really could say i felt totally comfortable with my "new" identity. kind of comparable to the adjustment period when you start a new job, i guess!

    Yes and...

    (*hug*) I know not all Christians are homophobic. I don't think I would have been had I stayed Christian and eventually figured out my orientation. A family friend of ours is pro-gay and Christian, she's a photographer and posted a NOH8 themed shoot on Facebook. She's my only friend who posted something non-supportive of Chick-fil-A.
