The House and Senate have over rode the Governor's veto, Vermont will now allow gay marriage

Mmm, is there a link? I've read that the senate has, but can't find anything about the house voting yet.

I love Vermont, I went once when I was young and have never forgotten it.
This is a great week for the United States of America.

Well if they're smart they'll realize how inevitable it is that all states will have equal gay rights. Their most intelligent course of action would be to just leave it alone at this point rather then lose any more voters over it then they already have. But in other words,

WOO HOO GO VERMONT I LOVE YOU AND WANT YOUR BABY

I love this quote from Austin Nimocks, head of the Alliance Defense Fund:

    2) Of course marriage predates the Vermont legislature. It also predates you, and predates essentially all of the modern religions. So yes, of course we should keep marriage as it has always been defined: one man married to however many women he wants for the purposes of political gain as arranged by his parents and advisors.
